Unfortunately, we have to do a lot of reactive repairs to drainage due to bad developers, an increase in impervious surfaces (concrete and asphalt parking lots) and so on. This is the result. The city pays a lot of money for the property, it doesnt just kick people out. They have to sign legal agreements and so on. Im sorry, but the improvements need to happen. I hope they get the money they should get for their homes, but we all need to accept that with climate change, the city hss to do things to prepare for the big events.
