    I've walked into model stores with a lot of Gundam models to choose from and yours are by far the most gorgeous to watch and maybe one day to own. Your detail and touch on each model should be the standard when buying a model.

    You just go for it, wow!!

    I started scribing because of you. I've mastered the .2mm. My lines are consistent and neat and are beginning to look like yours. But I've started integrating use of the .4mm and now I've got to start all over again. XD
    So much practice required! But it's worth it. By the way, for those watching, scribing takes a looooooong time. Especially when staring at the blank piece of plastic trying to envision lines. Sometimes I end up staring at a piece for an hour trying to come up with something.
    Thanks RAVI, for being an inspiration.

      panel line is requires skill, but it is more difficult to come up with a design. I try sketching parts several times. Until I have a design that I like.

    Sorry for asking so much?
    Is primer painting the parts essential before scribbing? Is it so you can draw the parts with pencil?
    Is it different if im using 6mm hiqparts guide tape?
    Im planning to scribb my 1/144 btw..

    • @RAVIPLA
      @RAVIPLA  5 лет назад +2

      Not essential. When I sand the parts, I want to check the shrinkage on the surface.
      There are two types of HIQPARTS guide tape: 3mm and 6mm. I usually use 3mm.

I notice that you only use manual hand tools to work on the pieces aside from your airbrush of course, I wonder why it is you don’t tend to use an electric rotary tool? I’m currently working on a Gouf custom from 02 and the pieces fit together like absolute shit even after I clean them up carefully, any advice?

    Hi Ravi, thanks for the great tutorial again! Really fascinating design! But I have a question here. How do you decide when to use 0.15 or 0.2 and 0.4 or 0.5? Because I feel that they only make a small difference visually. Thanks a lot!

      Generally, 0.5 is used mainly. However, if the panel area is small, use 0.4. 0.15 and 0.2 don't mean much. mg sazabi is large and usually uses 0.2 but uses 0.15 when the parts are small. Generally, 0.15 is mainly used for 1/100 scale. Thanks.

    I always bloody slip doing this, or the tape moves, or something else that results in a crappy scratch on my kit. :(
