I’ve been listening to this song religiously for 5 years. There’s no wrong time to listen to this song. Driving song. Sleeping song. Sad song. Hype song. Work song. Relaxing song. KSD doesn’t have as many songs as other artists, but I don’t need any more with the quality and caliber of all their current tracks, especially this one.
The song alone is nice but the music video is wholesome af. I feel like it captures the energy of going out clubbing on a thursday night with a friend from out of town, when all your usual favourite places are shut but you're still looking for place thats still open and playing good music, so you head in and onto the dance floor and end up chatting with people you would never have met otherwise and end up having a great time. I hope everyone reading this is keeping safe and having an awesome time in 2021. I love you all! Peace and love :)
+John Vazquez Why would you want that ? I don't like to share my gems, if this gets millions of views you will hear this music in every car and every bar that's no good (its just me)
Still watching and showing this to friends in 2020. Such a unique combination of melancholy and ecstasy. There's such a story to this video, complex and sad but then also pretty much just a story of almost accidental/incidental acceptance and perpetuism (being your self and adapting from/in a moment to moment basis) being open to and enabling these kind of connections with those that you wouldn't usually expect or be expected to connect with. Age, gender, sexuality, the "clique" you claim; even the emotional state in the moment and all these typical dividers do not have to disconnect people. This video is a moment that is utterly beautiful, almost a moment of clarity and a dispelling of assumptions in this weird little bar. KSD genius in pairing these visuals with his track, the actors/dancers are all fantastic. It feels very real and emotional to me, always has.
people seems to try to analyse what this is about. If there is any story to it. To me as someone raised in Copenhagen and have often been part of Copenhagen´s nightlife, it seems like just showing what kind of atmosphere if you go to a "bodega"/pub in Copenhagen. You meet the metrosexual guy, the senior women, the single young women and punks. You have to remember that Kenton Slash Demon is danish and the so are the bars where it was filmed (Graceland Bar, Amager , Red Rental and Tapasbaren) - it's nearly sort of a choreographed documentary about Copenhagen nightlife.
No matter what age, gender or race. We can all share one same passion, music. That what I got from the video, to ignore what we see and to just listen and float away in the melody that makes us dance.
what i like about this video is everything happens in the collective imagination of the patrons, they're only thinking about cutting loose. the guy obsessing over himself in the mirror and the girl smoking outside never actually join the party, but you know they want to. so relatable
bro, I listen to this and mentally transport myself to 2016, then we often got together in a big group... tripped and hung out))) and every time we listened to this song. ❤️❤️❤️
See that there are all kinds of "differences" between these people, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, image, jobs they have, labels in general, but they managed to overcome that and simply dance and enjoy together. Love :)
CAN ANYBODY PLS FUCKING EXPLAIN TO ME, WHY I HAVE THIS FEELING THAT I LISTENED TO THIS SONG SO MANY TIMES BEFORE??? Seriously, it can't be released in Spetember 2015??? It sounds so familiar to me. Especially when you compare it to Skydancer I. Kenton is so gifted!!
+Milsane What a coincidence, first time i've heard this, i was like "I must've heard this before", but that was probably because i've heard it for like- 1000 times or so XD
Kenton Slash Demon is part of When Saints Go Machine, so you might like them. Feed Your Head by Paul Kalkbrenner has a similar vibe to this. You may also like the songs Crystal and Bena by Delorean.

Accidentally found this while searching for harp songs.. This is the best accidental song I've ever found, for it brings a sense of freedom and peace

No songs have ever caused me to throw a hammer at the radio at work, but that part at 3:50 tipped me over the edge, fucking infuriating.
+TehChocco infuriating? how is this infuriating? btw: I completely respect your opinion, i'm just curious
+Anne Feenstra cos it reminded tehChocco of being at work and not at a party
I love that little moment at 1:51 where the song kinda swirls out
