There's a less snooty but more difficult way for aries. They're still a warrior and by extension a soldier. There's a less snooty but more difficult way for aries. They're still a warrior and by extension a soldier. If you convince them that you truly outrank them then as long as you continue to prove this and that you specifically earned it according to their own standards, they will follow you as blindly as they jump into things (It can't be in title and experience they haven't seen alone they have to know beyond a shadow of a doubt you climbed up the same way they currently do but better and faster) I say all this with as an aries who has an Aries Rising and Mercury. Also they'll basically be your muscle for life even if you don't want them to be and even if it's not physical. Cap Sun/Virgo Moon here. Basically all you gotta do is show me that you really need my help because I'm a more capable person than you are, and that's it. Any different type of bs you try to pull on me will immediately make me act like my Taurus rising and basically it will be game over. However, and I think this is because I have a lot of Aquarius in my chart, if you try to manipulate me in a very specific way that really angers me (basically being indirect, passive aggressive, and involving other people) I might feel compelled to do the opposite of what you want me to do in instead of simply dismissing it.

Ironically my placements can make me bit stubborn with the strong Aries and Aquarius influences. So I actually prefer to be subtlety manipulated rather than telling me too direct and tactlessly. Tricking me or convincing me to think about the "how and why" on my own seems to be the only way to get through XD. On a side note with my Cancer Rising, the crying trick doesn't really work if it's not genuine I'll be able feel if I'm being manipulated.
