In recent years, social media has catapulted many people into stardom. Once ordinary people are now being seen as legitimate famous people and have adopted the title of "influencer". Sometimes earning millions in the process. So as you can imagine, there are those who actively seek out that level of notoriety without putting in the actual work. Sometimes, they fake it until they make it.
With that, you may have encountered fake gurus, fake verified accounts or the like. These individuals seek to actively destroy communities and are manipulating ordinary people into making themselves rich. This video seeks to protect the uninformed viewers of what signs to look out for, in order to avoid these modern day con-artists that seemingly plague the internet as of late.

Embarrassingly I fell for a MLM pyramid scheme a while ago that was pushed on me by one of my friends. Took me a while to finally admit how I was ignorant and stupid to fall for it and leave it. Learned my lesson and am a lot less impressionable now.
