      @ he's been trying to get on the show for the last few years. I was following him on Twitter. He really is a fan of the show. He sounded more sane than what I see now. I kind of thought something was off with him, the very first episode but, I thought it was just first night jitters and that the reality that he was actually there was just setting in.

      @@terrystorey I think that's part of the problem. He's not a good gameplayer, but he's a huge fan. So he just has a HUGE desire to be considered one of the greats, but is clueless about how to do it. So now he's trying to basically fool all of America into thinking he's smart by acting like everything was done according to plan. If you watch the feeds, he'll literally walk around muttering to his mic that he has everything under control and that they should just write the check now... As though we can't see what's going on, and would just take his word for it.

    • @heathergagnon5125
      @heathergagnon5125 2 года назад +2

      @@speedude0164 This also I don't care what they wanted 3 weeks is too much protection time, one maybe two fine but three is half of perjury put this together with the fact Paul was the only returning face that year they were bound to get it. This gave Paul way too much time to set up their social network even further, this after the friendship bracelets had already helped to kick start the building of that network. These two powers right out of the gate week one basically punched Paul's ticket to the finals. I hated this season for those powers alone though there were many other things to dislike.

    • @NYChica23
      @NYChica23 2 года назад

      He actually didn't play it perfectly, because if he had, he would've thought things through a lot more carefully before going ahead and trying to backdoor Paul. First thing you need to know about BB is that it's a numbers game, and that the HOH ultimately has no power to send their target home if the numbers are not there for it to be done, as we later end up seeing that season with Jessica's failure to get out the person she wanted gone during her HOH reign. So before pulling off a move like Cody wanted to, which had so much potential to crash and burn if it wasn't perfectly executed, he first needed to triple check that the votes were securely locked in place before the POV ceremony took place, and that clearly wasn't going to happen if he thought it was smart strategy to not communicate with the people he's supposed to be working with. And when the Paul plan fell through thanks to the secret power, he goes and digs himself even deeper into the hole by nominating yet another alliance member in Christmas, instead of Ramses/Dominique/Jason/Kevin, 4 people who were not aligned with him, therefore posed very low risk if he chose one of them as a replacement. So yeah, while the pendant of protection and Megan quitting aren't his fault, everything else that went wrong that week was something he messed up all on his own

    Tbh Cody’s HoH shouldn’t have gone the way it did. A random secret power like that is just unfair to have in the game without the cast knowing about it. Sure, they didn’t have to say Paul had it but they should’ve told the cast that the pendant was a thing or at least that some sort of power was at play, so Cody could’ve taken it into consideration when making his nominations. It’d be like if on Survivor they just wouldn’t let the cast know that there is an idol at play (I mean it’s expected now but for comparison, let’s say on the first season with the idol they hadn’t told the cast about it and someone just whipped it out at tribal). It’s just not a fair game if the players don’t know what cards are in the deck.

But yeah, I did forget about that, honestly I kind of tried to erase this entire season out of my memory, but I stand by that riggory was in place. CBS knew Paul would be an early target as the only vet so they set up that safety power because of course America would vote for them so they were basically guaranteed to get it. And even if twists are expected on BB, I don't think twists should get in the way of players actually getting to play the game or punish players for attempting to make big and entertaining moves. That just means no one will ever attempt to do anything risky as a twist can throw a wrench in the plan at any given moment which is probably why the newer BB seasons have such boring gameplay.

      Cody’s was only messed up because of the 3-week safety twist for Paul and his original targets exit from the game. I get what u mean tho but frenchie’s disastrous hoh week was due to his own fault lol

    I haven’t watched a full season of Big Brother since 2020 (BB22). It’s because i work night shift and don’t have the time I used to have to be able to watch it.
    I do know the eviction results of BB23, BB24, and BB25 but I just don’t know yet why those results were the way they were. However I just started watching BB23 and yah Frenchie has me scratching my head🤣

    I knew Frenchie I’m high school... he was the same way in real life too. Even when I tried to be the bigger person and find out what is going on with him and why he is the way he is he just blew me off like I was the problem. He also didn’t spend that long in the military to play the “I see everything” card.... he only went on the show for the money because that’s all he ever cared about... money.

So they were like "oh well he wants us to vote out Nicole, does he? We'll show him.. we're gonna vote out our favorite person in the house. Ha!" Lol
