very helpful. got my Alarmo setup with this video. One question on the script for playing the siren. I added the wait template (new to this wait template concept) , but i am assuming it will not automatically play the sound file again as mentioned in the video (does it ?) . It does not for me. I had to add another action after the wait template to play the sound. Is there a way to play the file on repeat until the the player is stopped or alarm is disarmed.

When I select my Amazon Echo device, I get this message: "Media player does not support browsing media", I don't have the option to select the siren or alarm media file i have placed in the media folder. Hi Juan, Great Guide! Siren runs great with one of my speakers. Quick question: What do I put in the idle yaml script if I need to add more Google speaker devices? I need to add 11 more.
Personally I had some issues with the "Stop Siren" scripts. For testing I'm using a Google Home Mini. When the 'Stop Siren' script was kicked off (either manually or via alarm triggered), it did not play the audio next time. I added a "1s delay" between the "Turn off" and "Turn on". Tested it again and again, this works Flawless.
Hi, can you share some more details. My siren will not turn on when the alarm is triggered. I can see that the Stop Siren is activated but when I set the alarm and the alarm is triggered there is no sound.

Great video, You can have it to alarm/disarm if your phone is home or away aswell? I've also seen somebody create a key pad / nfc card reader with esphome and integrate into alarmo.

I've got everything working but for some reason the Siren script won't turn on! It works when I run the start/stop script manually but it does nothing when the alarm is triggered. I do get the notifications.
The Google and IFTTT integration has changed and want to see if there is any new video update on how to turn on and off your pc with these new changes. I can't get them to work with the new Google Assistant V2.
Watching the video again, I believe yes this is possible...when he is setting up scripts inside the repeat action he chooses alarmo as the until condition one of the states available is "arming". I think that should get you want you want, the rest should be mimic'd choose the device for it to beep on and the sound file. Edit: theres also a pending state that might be the entry delay one specifically. The one i mentioned above is prob exit delay
Do you think it's possible get a keyless entry (connected direct to HA using zwave and keymaster) to arm/disarm alarmo? i.e. when you lock keyless entry alarmo is activated and when opened with a code it is disabled
Juan, a little off topic here, but I ordered a Hoobs Pro last March. They kept giving excuses about why it had not shipped and how it would ship next week, next week, etc. I finally cancelled my order in September, but they have refused to refund my funds. Hi Juan , I cannot get the sounnd to loop while aram is triggered , it will play 17 sec mp3 (clip is 17sec) and stop. Any help is much appreciated in advance
I followed you tutorial and everything was setup in less than an hour. All of a sudden the keypad has disappeared and I cannot get it back. Anyone else had this and know how to fix it ?
If anyone comes across the same issue I found the problem, Somehow Alarmo had changed the Pincode to Password. I changed back to Pincode and the keypad came back

Yes. You do an automation to both of these. Check out smart home junkie channel. He doesn’t use alarmo but the automation is the same.

It was little fast for me. But after several tries i figured out.

just saw this error : " In 'template' condition: UndefinedError: 'state' is undefined" is there a mistake on my template.
I would double check the wait template data. Make sure you set it up to the name if your speaker entity.
