The growth in this video - from “I’m anxious about recording in public 😬😬” to “I just stood up for a total stranger 👊🏼💃🏼” - is the kind of positive content we need in 2021 #queen
I'm proud of you I understand how you feel out & about, but when it comes to rudeness & disrespect I find the courage to speak up for the person that doesn't deserve the disrespect YOU GO GIRL!
You are amazing for standing up for that worker! It was highly inappropriate for the coworker to speak like that and in front of a customer. 👏🏻👏🏻 I also get hyped/panicky after interactions like that 🖤
It seriously means so much to me when you openly talk about your social anxiety. I’m not even filming anything and I still have anxiety going into crowded stores. Unless you have anxiety you can’t truly understand how frustrating it can be, and it’s nice to be reminded you aren’t alone!
I have so much respect and admiration for you for sticking up for that poor girl. She’s probably sick of being treated that way by that rude colleague of hers, but didn’t know how to squash it without making it an awkward working environment. Bravo!!!
As a retail worker THANK YOU i do that now way more often because I hit 30 and just don't care. People who are rude to their coworker and retail employees deserves so much shade
Way to go, Harli! Not only did you brave going out in public but you absolutely did the right thing by standing up to that obnoxious employee. I’m proud of you, girl!! You are a ROCKSTAR!
You probably made the girl helping you feel really seen. It’s especially hard rn to be working in customer service let alone dealing with mean coworkers
It’s so refreshing and reassuring to see someone else struggle with anxiety. I feel like it’s not talked about enough. Thank u for being brave and vulnerable. Also, great job standing up to that bully at the department store 💪🏽 👏🏼 ❤️
Harli, first of all, way to go on getting out and doing a plant shopping video out of your comfort zone. They were the first videos of yours that I watched and I was missing them. Also, you were on fire, it was so great to see you not only do something that gives you anxiety but to go out and stand up for someone in public that would normally give anyone so much anxiety that they would leave without doing it and have regrets about it later. The staff member that was helping you was very lucky to have a customer as caring as you. Well done!
Do you know all those TickTock’s where the people do some thing and they have the glass of water in their hand shaking? that’s Harley after standing up for that girl. 😂
I have the best luck with the Angel plants the trick is to check the soil first thing to make sure they arent over watered but if they are either repot them or take the rootball and wrap them in papertowel and newspaper to wick the water out of the soil over night, put it back into the pot then airate gently with a chop stick or something similar. Just my 2cents, thats what I had to do with over watered scindapsus.
That was so cool of you, Harli. As someone with social anxiety, I know it's a struggle to make small talk a lot of the time, let alone confront someone. I know too many times I've stayed quiet when I wanted to speak up, it's not a good feeling at all. I hope you feel really proud of yourself, and I wanted to thank you for the inspiration and courage to push through my own struggles. With anxiety it can feel like you're suffering alone a lot of the time, and I hope you know how much you're helping others by sharing things like this. It means a lot.
Omg I could never do what you did and confront that employee but I would've left regretting not saying anything. Proud of you for standing up for the other employee! And for getting out of your comfort zone to make these videos for us. Love you, Harli!!!
Your little story time was very appropriate! If you see something that you know isn't right or a human not treating another human with respect then you were 100% in the right for saying what you said to the other worker! Good for you Harli!
Giiiirl omg i have anxiety too and i think that was amazing of you to stand up for her i bet she appreciated it so much!!! You go girl im so proud of you!!!! You go glen coco 🥰
To be honest, I really admire how people somehow summon the courage and confidence to take photos or film in public - I wish I could be so brave! You did wonderful and provided such a great journey, hope we'll see more like this or even on your other adventures!
YESSS HARLI - get it, girl. What a win for you to say something and it sounds like you provided helpful feedback without being harsh or rude. Hopefully, that lady realizes how inappropriate that was!
i’ve never met anyone with your level of social anxiety. i have some myself but more mild. good for you for pushing through it. For me the more i put myself out there, the better it got. it’s probably taken me about 18 years of work to minimise my anxiety and though it’s not gone i actually feel more confident now than ever. keep putting yourself out there because it gets better, i promise. thank you for sharing your experiences and for standing up for the coworker helping you . ✌🏽
You are powerful, with or without the mask. I completely understand what you are feeling, and I'm beyond proud of you that you pushed yourself to step outside your comfort zone! Much love and respect to you. You're not alone. You are stronger than you realize ❣️
THANK YOU for standing up for that employee. That was so beyond rude of the other employee to do that to her especially in front of a customer. You rock.
Honestly I’m so proud of harli for recording in public. I can tell it stresses her out a lot and I really am proud of her for going outside of her comfort zone🥰
I have social anxiety too and I’ve been in situations where I’ve wanted to help someone but couldn’t work up the courage. Thank you for sharing the story and normalizing feeling this way about what others think are “simple tasks”.
Also social anxiety is so real my adrenaline was pumping just hearing you talk about that story!! And honestly I have been in situations like that and tried to conjure up the courage to do something as brave as you, but I always talk myself out of it or feel like I wait too long. So inspiring honestly hearing you talk about it!!
Aw Harli! I am so proud of you for confronting that rude person! It’s soooo awkward when people are unprofessional in front of customers because they are on some power trip and taking advantage of the fact that the other coworker is “trapped” and might not defend themselves in front of customers 😡!
So proud of you for standing up for someone. We should all respect and care for one another. Thanks for your kindness to both of them. The coworker needed to know how poorly she behaved in the workplace, before she got reprimanded by her supervisor. You did her a favor.
You are the shit for standing up for a worker, I work at a restaurant and it makes my day better when a guest stands up for me or tells me sorry when another costumer is rude. Your amazing ✨❤️✨. Ps- love your Chanel makes me feel sane for liking plants so much 🪴
You did a great job. Thanks for taking us along, I know how horrible social anxiety can be. Also you did the right thing by standing up for the employee that was helping you.
You should be super proud of yourself Harli! As someone who has spent my entire adult career life working in retail and customer service the rare occasions when a customer stood up for me stand out as the best days of my life!
YEAH!! You get her Harli!! I worked retail for many years and totally would’ve appreciated a customer standing up for me to my bully coworker 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you should be so proud!!!!
Wait omg thank you so much for standing up for that girl you’re literally the best type of person. And even on top of that through the anxiety I could NEVER
Harli! I'm sorry you deal with anxiety like that, but I also really appreciate that you show it and don't hide it. I also struggle with anxiety and day to day life can be difficult at times. I think it's wonderful when people with a platform open up about mental health struggles because it slowly chips away at the stigma. I'm so proud of you for getting out and about that day!
I couldn’t have done this as you did! You went outside and film while you are so nervous and in tears, I really look up to you. Thank you for sharing this, you are an amazing person!
Hi Harli! First off, congrats on the sponsor, Scentbird. It's really nice when you're able to have sponsors to help you. I don't have anxiety, but am very proud of you for going out, and especially for saying something to the rude coworker. I haven't been to our HD or Lowe's for a long time, so not sure what they have. I'm trying to wait until I can buy outdoor plants for my flower pots, which hopefully will be soon. Also, our irrigation water should be on in a few days, which will help. I don't have luck with ivy or ferns either. Good luck with yours. It's really pretty. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hey Harli, love your personality, plus your energy and knowledge on plants. Also love how you are open about your social anxiety. Kudos and keep doing it 😊
i started out watching your plant care videos and im loving your personality even more after watching this video!! so awesome! thank you for making these, i will be watching your videos much more now :)
I water my maidenhair through the roots every other day or 3rd and the top like once a week to make sure everything's moist. I've had it for about a year
I was surprised to hear that you have issues with being anxious as you have always done first rate tours, and full of interesting information that are fun to watch. Please keep up the good work and be brave. Good for you for standing up for the young lady who was helping you, you were her angel that day.
This is am old video I know but omg the cutest video none the less, "I love earrings!" I have never genuinely enjoyed someone's personality via the Tube like yours. Keep the videos coming
Omg yes Harli! It makes my day seeing you role model this confidence and resilience! People who treat their co-workers like that need to be told straight up that it’s not okay, especially in front of customers! Good on you girl you did a good thing! 💖😁
I am so proud of you for standing up for that lady at Dillards! That is awesome. I have anxiety in public too so I know that your heart was probably pounding but it for sure needed to be said.
love that you stood up for her! i genuinely care about you and look up to you which might sound weird coming from someone you don't know but idk i feel like we're friends❣️
It was totally appropriate for you to tell that woman what she did was rude. Great job! As an introvert, it can be so hard to do things like that. You were very brave.
I have a small version on that fern and it’s in my bathroom with grow lights. I thought I killed it once from under watering. but I gave it a chance and just cut it back and kept watering in and is started to grow again. Now it’s doing much better.
Aw harli! I’m so happy and proud of you that you stood up for that employee 😭 that would have been hard for me to do too but you saw a unfair situation and you decided to say something. I’m proud of you girl
The world needs more people like you. As someone with anxiety I felt all of what you said but I hope you know that it's really appreciated and extremely admirable that you put yourself out there like that in order to defend someone else. Coodos to your awesomeness. PS Thank the lord that there's mommas out there like you. I know you are going to raise 2 (or more) kids who are going to be kind and wonderful just like you
Thank you for caring about how we humans choose to act in this world and a for being great to the clerk who helped you and so very helpful when reminding the rude nightmare clerk who hassled her in front of her customer. You used the courage you have so well.
Hey Harli!! I've been really enjoying the content you've been putting out within the last month ish! It seems like you've been more enthusiastic and passionate, getting your groove back. Love seeing you push yourself and enjoy your experiences and yaasss for standing up for that employee. Your mama bear is showing!! Keep it up girl!!
Thank you so much for standing up for that employee. Working in retail can be one of the most thankless jobs. You bust your butt, help as many people as you can and still get treated like you’re less than nothing because you work in retail.
You did the right thing, good job! People should be a little nicer to each other and it’s nice of you to look out for others! I was watching this for the plants and it turned out to be plants and more!! Thanks for sharing your greatness!!
So proud of you for going out to multiple places! Social anxiety is no joke, and it can take all you have sometimes. Proud of you, and channeling your bravery.
Go Harli!! That was so cool of you. People in those settings (retail and fast food) often get bullied because their coworkers are on a damn power trip for their 50c raise. They lose respect. As a former fast food/retail worker that GOT bullied to the point of crying at multiple places...Thank you!!!
Yay, I applaud your courage on so many levels and you were completely appropriate in speaking with that worker the way you did. Sometimes people like that do what they do because no one has ever said anything to them, you probably gave her some food for thought because she has no idea if you would be speaking to management or corporate about her so she may change her ways in that moment. Congrats on all your big strides this day. Be well, great video!
I love you for your plant content, but now I love you EVEN more for speaking your mind and defending that poor girl! 👏 her coworker was absolutely out of line, good for you
Proud subscriber - thank you for pushing yourself to make us content! But also remember it’s totally fine to respect your own boundaries, we will understand ❤️🥰
I just got a maidenhair fern and I'm trying the wicking method to keep it constantly moist. It drinks up the water quickly and I'm refilling the reservoir every other day. So far so good. You are a hero for speaking up to defend the sales person ❣️
Hi!! I have a maiden hair fern that I’ve had for about 6 months now and is thriving! I had to experiment with mine and put it in shallow water to keep it alive so I keep it in a tray in about 2 centimetres of water and it loves it, hope this helped!
I am so happy that you stood up and told the lady that she was wrong!!!!! You have to sometimes take it out and stand tall for others. Bless you and know that you are a great person ❤️
I’m so proud of you!!! You did so good! And good job standing up for that girl. Seriously, as someone who struggles with severe anxiety and used to not be able to leave my house, I am so proud of you! ❤️
I bought my first maidenhair fern at the beginning of this growing season. It was small and was planted in a red Solo cups. Everything in a red Solo cups was 3.00 that day. I planted that little fern in a tall oversize planter and it is huge now. I need to find out how to over winter. Everyone I have spoken with, hasn't had any luck. Any suggestions?

Try Organza and Issey Miyake. I love them so much!
“not a perfume” is amazing, it mixes with your natural pheromones so it won’t smell the same on anyone!
You should try Armani code
This is a cool sponsor Harli!
Be proud that you said something to that rude person !
We love a courageous queen who records in public AND stands up for a nice employee 👏👏👏

Good for you to stand up for that staff that helped you! The world has been crazy and no one deserves negativity and rudeness like that
I'm proud of you I understand how you feel out & about, but when it comes to rudeness & disrespect I find the courage to speak up for the person that doesn't deserve the disrespect YOU GO GIRL!

Yesssss! As someone who used to have an awful boss this makes me so happy. I hope that woman reflects about how she treats people now.
Thank you for standing up for something you feel is right even though you were out of your comfort zone. That is the definition of bravery.

You are a hero for speaking up to defend the sales person ❣️
Ahhhhh I would be so nervous too, great job going for it with the filming!! ☺️
I'm so proud of you! Standing up for someone, getting out in the world and filming - You are awesome and we appreciate you so much!
Thank you!!
I’m so proud of you!!! You did so good! And good job standing up for that girl. Seriously, as someone who struggles with severe anxiety and used to not be able to leave my house, I am so proud of you! ❤️
You go Harli!!! Thank you for being the good person that you are!
Love you so much for that interaction and your openness about your social anxiety. 💜
I'm so glad you stood up for that girl. When I used to work retail, it was always a relief when a customer would stand up for us
I am so so proud of you Harli! Social anxiety is real and it sucks so bad!! 😘
Bruh THANKYOU for standing up for the girl! So good of you! Yaaasss!!
I will NEVER get sick of Harli's videos
Where did you get your earrings? I love them!
