    I love Garrett Morris. He’s a legend and has done so many funny shows. He’s stayed relevant for decades and such a nice guy on top of his talent. Great interview thanks guys ❤

      Geoffrey Holder was the bald black guy who did the commercials for 7Up in the 70's. His voice was very much like James Earl Jones'.

    Garrett Morris did one of the funniest skits on SNL. The prisoner singing the song about getting a shotgun and killing all of the white people he sees.

    David, that was Cab Calloway in the Blues Brothers. Minnie the moocher was his big hit in real life. On another note, I miss your late night show. Cheers!

    My first exposure to SNL at 7 or 8 years old was an 8 track tape, I loved Garrett from the first moment I heard "News for the Hard of Hearing"

    was hoping for something about his Ant man cameo, I was so thrilled they gave him that since he was the first actor to portray the character on screen. it was beautiful.

    Collosall president is an awesome sketch, especially at the end when Aykroyd starts to break. I still remember rolling around laughing on the floor of our den forever it seemed. 9 year old staying up late.

    This was awesome. I met Scatman Cruthers in Vegas - he was playing slots next to me 43 years ago. Harry Nielsen - did put the lime in the coconaut and Cab Calloway did Minnie the Moocher. I have autographs from everyone from the 1st season SNL except for John and I just got Garrets - he does not sign a lot. I do have autographs from David and Eddie- I do still need one from Dana.

    I was a Dana Carvey fan before trying to listen to these podcasts. He has to be the neediest human being I’ve ever heard. He has trouble listening and being interested in someone else. He constantly brings everything back to himself and can’t go long without crowbarring some god damn impression into the conversation. He’s so exhausting and annoying.

    Chevy Chase was never funny. He should have done dramatic acting. The only movie Chevy Chase did that was good was Foul Play. . He should have done serious acting. He was very good. He was never a Garrett Morris or a Bill Murray
