So another worthwhile project hits the screen. No less the beast, a 'Mans bike', Cancelled in the name of safety, What ever you want to call it. This is the last un-restricted crazy idea from Honda to make a bike you simply can't use to it's full potential so they canned the class and for what? Dull 4 stroke restricted racing that still sees the CR500 2 stroke competing and winning in many cases after 20+ years of so-called- development. I want one. I want it in a glass case just to know I have something that belongs to another age.
Lets see if it is up to the hype..

Your depth of knowledge on all different types of bikes is incredible. Do you just apply general principles to each restoration or do you read up on the service manuals for engine disassembly etc?

Kinda want to bolt cyl back on, coil some nylon rope inside the cyl, and turn engine over slowly to lift head off cyl
Good idea but I tried a rounded soft timber with a heavy hammer. No damage but will not budge. You’ll see in the next video..there is a lot of scale. Part of me thinks if it’s not leaking then leave the damn thing on!
You need to invest in some prime mx wheels makes restoring metal parts so much easier and gives great finishes 👌

@@MyRestoration1 I bet it was rare to get parts like that in Scotland without paying more for one part than you are the whole bike most off the time , cheers for the response.
