The last election was the biggest mess in history and exactly why the electoral college is so important because it makes cheating more difficult since you'd need to manipulated further the votes for the 2 electorate across multiple varied states and yes it can happen but unlikely.

Everything looks great about his policies except for one thing: a work-based tax plan that functions as a reverse income tax? I’m at a loss. It may be the most counter intuitive thing I’ve ever heard a modern politician openly propose.
it could make sense where it stops at a point, because corporations dont NEED less taxes, although less taxes on them has been proven time and time again to just make the entire country richer with the people
Ngl it taxes work like Bell Curve going to the more rich, but I would support the Work Based Tax Plan

Many countries (including mine) have been adopting "trickle down" economics and austerity for decades now and it's doing nothing but make the country worse for the average person. Having "more wealth" doesn't mean anything if it's hoarded by the few. Long term effects from inevitable cuts to social services are also terrible.
Yeah exactly, how does he expect *that* to work? His explanation doesn't really make sense because there's a point at which you're making a lot of money not from your own hard work, but from *others' hard work* and that's one fundamental issue I have with that policy.

@@tomrogue13 Vague policies are the quest because nothing gets accomplished. He'll provide no direction to Congress and the country fails to advance. The problems just get worse. Regardless of what the Republicans say, Biden has helped the country recover from Trump's pro corporate policies.

That reminds me of when in Italy a man founded a party called "Partito dell' Uomo Qualunque", or Average Man Party, to protest against italian politics, but then the party actually became a thing and still today we say "qualunquismo" to address populist ideas. We literally had a remake of it, the 5 Star Movement, which is the third party of Italy and ironically it isn't as bad as the other ones. Italy politics are fucking wild.

The thing about the voting system in America is that the average Joe votes for whoever they see the most (Rep & Dem) or they just follow the crowd because they don’t actually bother to do their research.
There’s literally always at least 6-8 candidates but nobody thinks anyone not from the most popular party will win, so nobody bothers voting for them.
And then they complain about all the shit that they don’t like that they could’ve prevented from happening and the cycle repeats.
