  • The hand instruments in Operative Dentistry is important for all the Dental Students. In this 2nd Part of the video series on Hand Cutting Instruments of Operative Dentistry, I have covered Instrument formula, Various excavators, Chisels, Gingival Margin Trimmer, Hoe, Spoon excavator, Angle fomer, and other instruments with the design of it. Easy dentistry at Aspire32 helps grasp such topics of Dentistry in the simplest possible way for dental students and dentists. It also explains the various uses of hand cutting instruments used for routine restorative procedures.

    If it coincides with no 90 how will it be perpendicular sir bcz the angle will be 90*3.6 ??

    In staright chisel,bevel present r not?
    If present is it mesial r distal?
    How can we say that which is proximal and distal?
    In staright chisel shank is straight know sir then how can we say that which is facing towards us because we can hold it whatever side we want know sir?

      The sharp edge should be towards the wall

    Sir u said that
    The blade and cutting edge of enamel hatchet are on plane with long axis of handle...which means that cutting edge is parallel to long axis of handle ????
    Wouldn't it make the instrument 4 number instrument.
    I m confused!plz explain
