Holy moly, I sang this as an alto in St Mary's Church choir in 1986.... I was able to sing along 36 years later!!!! There's nothing like singing in a choir :)
God bless you 👍🕎✝️
I got to sing this in an Austrian cathedral as a young teen. It remains one of the great highlights of my life.
Ganz grossen Dank für den wunderbaren Beitrag.
nič lepšie som nepočul dám aj v angličtine, SUPER, beautiful, SUPER!
This sublime musical moment goes into my "it doesn't get better than this" category. Thank you for posting!
I had this stuck in my head for 10 years, unaware of the original composer, or its name. I knew it as "requiem", a brass band arrangement I'd rehearsed several times. I spent many years searching for it here, on and off again, only to drunkenly stumble across it after reading about the origins of the Mr Bean theme music.
you deserve an award
@@aliciadeckert6098 If you (or anyone) want to give me one I won't say no.
A very good rendition well done, tempo perfect, clear lines/voices put some more on youtube Thank you
I have wunderful memories of this piece, that is sung many times in my parish church in Overveen, the Netherlands, under the direction of Jan Mul.
Ah...I have at last...found the all-around best interpretation/upload of this beautiful motet...Thank You!!...
Good technical work. The voices can be heard clearly.
The recording could be cleaner, but the performance itself is grande. I got goosebumps all over.
i did this for ILMEA in 2019-2020 and boy was it beautiful, i miss it!
Stunning, absolutely stunning.
beautiful
Wow, that was our standard at Knabenkantorei Basel. We performed that piece at little to bigger squares of our city, live, several times. And we nailed it. As I think… what great song!
I’m singing this for a state audition, I’m super nervous ! It’s a very pretty song and I’m happy to have the opportunity to sing it 💝
Kasey did u make it? I’m also singing it for a state audition. Any tips?✨

Gary Liu also ENUNCIATE the words cant tell you how much I was told that
TheAnimationLads that’s what I was told to 😂 they said it’s okay to make it sound not as pretty but add the constants. So I am working on it :)

Sublime rendition
You ate that up!!!!!
"You ate that up??" Talk sense man if you want to be understood! You come across as an imbecile.
a little slow but i honestly love your slower tempo. it gives more feeling to the piece. amazing.
SUPER, many thanks, many, many....i am professional singer, this is my favourite song...
a little slow but well done, we are performing this in Sept 2017 for the 50th anniversary dedication of our church

Needs a noise filter / better recording equipment :D
Haha, thought the same... We are singing it in the choir now and I had to laugh because it remained me of Mr. Bean 😂😂
Well played, haha. I’ve sung this piece before, but never consciously noted the similarity to Mr Bean’s intro! 😂
