Im constantly working on my parents Cadillac SRX, just replace the sunroof motors, the rear liftgate motor, both went bad from sunroof leaking. I currently have the sunroof completely out because the outer seal was completely dry rotted and falling apart so doin both the inner and outer seals as well as cleaning all the drain tubes and extending them to get rid of the problematic firewall gromets they have
Oh I also forgot about the airbag/steering wheel clock spring that went bad which the new one had to be programmed/calibrated after I installed it with a specialty computer that most mechanics don't have, we had hard time finding somewhere that could program it besides the dealership which they can't just do what u tell them needs to be done they must first do diagnostics.... Body shops though usually have a guy that goes around to different body shops to program modules when they need them done, so contact a body shop if you ever need something like that done. My next problem is gonna be dealing with the drivers door glass which hopefully I think is just a bad switch because it goes down fine but doesnt wanna go back up sometimes
@@brianaustin8136 Thanks for that great info! One really interesting complaint I heard about these vehicles was that the drivers door window moves very slow. I always that it was a weird comment until I tried to roll my window up in the cold (10 deg F) and it literally took it a full minute to roll up haha I'm not sure if it's a bad switch, motor, connection, or what. Let me know what you find!
Nice work getting this to 150K. Lets see it get to 200K and maybe even 250K
Oh yeah! 👍

i have a 2011 cadillac srx and im having so many problems with her :(( she’s at 166,622
Wow! Any problems I can try to help with? Whats something I can show you how to change/fix?
Bro just buy a new car. What it’s going to cost for repairs you can get another car
No way! This car still runs so well and I want to keep it going for 100,000 more miles. I'm thinking I can get all of it done for less than $1,500
