ATTENTION: I did not kick the lady out of the front seat. When the trip was booked, it was pre organised with the company for me to be in the front because I’m way too tall to fit in the back of a Hiace for that long (I would have made other arrangements) - The person who was in the front took the front seat with out knowing.
I literally did feel a bit bad, that’s why I spoke with the driver while we were on the way and he’s exact words were “it’s alright, she said it’s okay”
As most of you know, I’m like to play around and be funny in my vlogs, maybe my humour style was misinterpreted (and I can understand that, im from Australia, we are a different breed)

Really like your style, how polite and friendly you are to the local people. It is so humbling in my opinion going there. Sometimes it seems some RUclipsrs and tourists in general can treat developing countries as their personal playgrounds and do not show respect and humility. Whang Od is a kalinga. The Kalinga tribe in the Philippines is believed to have originated from the Kalingas of ancient India. According to historians, the Kalingas of ancient India were a powerful tribe that controlled the region of present-day Odisha. They were known for their fierce warrior culture and skilled metalworkers. During the reign of the Indian Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE, the Kalingas were defeated in a brutal war.
Ashoka, moved by the horrors of the war, converted to Buddhism and vowed to never again wage war. it is believed that some of the Kalingas, possibly including metalworkers, migrated to Southeast Asia and eventually settled in the Philippines. The present-day Kalinga tribe in the Philippines still retains some of the cultural practices and traditions of their ancient Indian ancestors, such as metalworking and tattoos.

The banaue rice terraces, which is near these terraces, are the oldest rice terraces in the world. They were carved into the mountains 3000 years ago at the latest, and people have been farming in them since. With each section being passed down family line for generations.
Those rice terraces you saw have likely been producing rice for thousands of years.
