Great video Eloi, thanks for explaining everything! This is matching up perfectly with what we are noticing with our sample. I've never seen a scooter with this many practical innovations.
waiting for the video Mr Temple promised us last live about the Phantom lol
@@DanielSabinus First look coming out later today -- full review ~24th of March -- we need time for the full review. Spoiler: the hype is real.
Glad it was helpful!
Now this is what you call amazing customer service, they actually care. Love it!!!
Thank you Jimmy. We truly do care. Our clients mean everything to us. It's not marketing speak.
@@ApolloScooters I literally just bought the Apollo Phantom from FluidFreeRide. I did it because of the support you guys give your clients.
Can't wait to get it! I only wish I could get it sooner than May because my BDay is on April.
I love the direction the company is going in. Keep up the great work guys.
Thanks! Will do!
@@ApolloScooters Hey just wondering if it will also be available in France or Australia ?
Apollo, thank you so much for releasing this very detailed video showcasing the information on the prototyping process that you follow in creating a safe, high-performing, and durable scooter. The communication by your team is top-notch and much appreciated, especially before pre-orders start. I love to research and this has satisfied many of my concerns and questions (not all, but really close). 1) Are there any other changes or improvements that will be happening before the final shipping date? 2) I would be interested in knowing more concerning the performance differences between the mechanical brakes and the hydraulic brakes, especially considering the price difference. 3) The first prototype sports a 10 x 2.5 tires. The second and third prototype tires appears to be a bit wider, maybe 10 x 3? (thanks for listening and trying to go tubeless). 4) What is the material of the charging port caps and how are they affixed to the ports? If they are plastic, will they hold up over time? (maybe screw-on rust and corrosion-resistant metal caps?) Possibly change the location of the charging port to an area that is less vulnerable to accidental strikes and weather. 5) Love the addition of the toolkit with pre-orders! General critique: The lighting on the video is generally dark (black scooter with a black background is not optimum). Also on the closeups it was hard to distinguish some of the details that were being called out. Overall: Great information and a strong design that has transferred into fun scooter! Also, I really enjoyed the podcast last week.
I'll be buying an Apollo asap. The level of care and responsibilty for your customers are second to none. One knotch above that, all this content concerning your specific scooters, the care, management and safety; I really feel your group is a remarkable company and other manufacturers SHOULD BE taking note on ya'll.
You guys are gamechangers and am always excited to discover your activities
You guys have done another great job of helping us to get to know and Understand your products - I'm waiting to order my Phantom V3 ! Thank you.
I really love how transparent you guys are with your customers, no tricks, everything on how the scooter is built is shown and how that benefits us
Congrats APOLLO!!! I'm so very proud of you guys!! This is the result of who/what you've been since DAY ONE: AMAZING PRODUCT+CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The PHANTOM IS PERFECTION! I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY HYDRAULIC BRAKE VERSION!!!
Omg u guys are very perfectionists nothing goes unnoticed or is good enough it all has to be PERFECT!!!😆 i love it just shows how much u really care about the quality of your products
I recommend reversing the Apollo branding on the stem to match the Apollo explore so the branding is not inverted when the stem is folded.
Good catch, it will actually be fixed for the next production!
Thanks for your feedback Jason!
It will be fixed in the final production model that ships! Good eye :-)
@@ApolloScooters Hi apollo what's the 40 miles range based on avg speed tho?
Looks awesome! I considered cancelling my Ghost order for one of these but as neat as they look I think the Ghost should still do it for me. In any case it looks like a great scoot and with dual 1200W motors it's a beast for sure!
im planning to get one too this month!like the phantom v2 or v3 for my first e-scooter
I'm sold and definitely going to purchase one. Apollos reputation is excellent and they are setting a standard other companies will have to try and compete with. We'll done team Apollo
Amazingly detailed video guys! It's great to see the iterations of the Phantom. We'll have our unboxing video coming out before the end of May and a full review soon after!
LOVE the Canadian design. Gave me a deep appreciation for the quality of this product. I'm buying!
Nice video, fellas. I've been adamant that the Phantom doesn't offer as much value as either the Ghost or Explore, but learning about all these little features has helped change my mind. Do I wish it had more range? Yes, but there's way more to a scooter than just a battery and I think you did a great job of highlighting those aspects. Again, nice work.
Thank you for your support, Lance!
Black on black on a really dark background ... Nice and informative non the less .. waiting for the 60v 4.0 version ;)
Will this be available in New Zealand?
Random question I have the Explore can I use that charger on the phantom? Only asking cause I have 2 chargers for the explorer lol
Thanks for all the great details for all us scooter nerds!! But Ive just started to ride more at night so i was really curious about more details on the new headlight -specifically the throw of the light beam compared to others? - i just bought the Vsett8R because i needed the folding handle bars and extended range - but Apollo’s attention to detail has me eyeing the brand for my next purchase of a dual motor model ....
i was about to buy the allen kit tools and a air pump but since i saw i'm getting it with pre order, just buying the lub and wd40 to maintain.
thanks a lot, really excited for it
Welcome to the community, Daniel!
Génial tellement apprécié. To see how much details were thought through is just amazing. I bought an emove cruiser 3 months ago and its falling apart. I was hesitating to sell.it and bug the phantom. Now it's decided I am ordering.
I just pre-ordered mine today. Can't wait to get it , only problem is I ordered a premium tool kit with it, and now your saying I'm getting one with the scooter. Wish they said that when I ordered it
Whether the sitting model is available?
I’m so excited and happy I chose to get a Phantom 😁
Any availability for France or Australia ?
Is this a dual motor scooter? What is the distance in eco mode
Love the high mounted light nice touch
Still wish yall head the deck lighting as well like your other models
Great scooter, hoping to get it when it comes out. BTW I love night riding and I think you should make two versions one with 1 light and the second with triple 2000 lumen lights.
Where is this made?
Do you have available apollo scooter here in australia?
Love my Phantom V2 52V Hydraulic. It's built so well and is so stable.
I have a Ghost on pre order but i might change it to one of these if they have close shipping dates
I know pre pre orders goes tomorrow and all ready sign up just need to know shipping dates
When are u going to to be in the west coast
Pre-order completed this past weekend. Looks to be a mid-July ship. Gonna be a loooooooong 4+ months, but I’m thinking it’ll be worth it.
I wish this phantom scooter gets a mini version 🤙 it is for sure a great scooter. It has everything that scooter users need. However, in some cases like me who lives in a 3rd Floor apartment without elevator is kinda challenging or impossible to bring the scooter up and down. I wish someday its possible for a mini version like other companies have done.
I am sure in the near future they will make a lighter version, but not with the same power. They can't make 3 versions of a new model. It will be costly. They are not a big company yet. At the moment they have to be efficient.
An apollo city 2022 should fit your bill
Are there any independent re owes available yet
Don
What will be needed to upgrade it to the ludicrous version ? Will you sell an upgrade kit?
Yes, it will be sold as a kit
What’s the cost of 60 volt unit
Great to have an explanation of the features and learn more about why things were changed and chosen. Can’t wait to see it in action and see what ESG, Alien rides, wrong way, Ben Fox and others make of this! 😀 shame it’s ip54 not higher so it can officially be ridden in the rain. Are Apollo and others going to be bringing out models higher than ip54???
We are looking at it. We know our community wants waterproof and we want to deliver that experience!
@@ApolloScooters that’s great, the Uk hasn’t legalised scooters yet but should do within a year. I think indicators front and back, ability to ride in the rain and designs with suspension and pneumatic tyres will be key. Due to potential restrictions on watts power (could be 500 watts based on rental scooter laws currently here and in Europe) I do think that what the market needs is lower powered dual motor scooters to give better hill climbing and peak power, for example the Apollo light or city type scooter with indicators ip55 upwards and dual 250 watt motors would be ideal. I really like how you can switch between single and dual motor with scooters like the phantom so you can balance your demands for range and speed. Keep up the good work Apollo and be great to partner with a store based retailer such as pure electric so us in the Uk can go and try out the Apollo line up 👍🏻😀
🙌🏾👏🏿👏🏿👍🏾 very impressive!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Will this scooter be available in Canada, or is this only for usa?
It will be available in Canada through Apollo and in US through Fluidfree ride :-)
If I preorder this, will I get the upside-down Apollo on the side?
It will be corrected
Do you have to kick start the phantom to get it moving?
You have the option to change it on the setting.
Soooo. Do you ship to Europe?
I was eyeing on the wolf warrior and then this pop up on the recommendations I hope this will be available in the Philippines
what about the kick stand there is news that the kickstand on the ghost their are problems will there be simular problems on phantom
We address it at 7:02 :-)
@@eloipecquet ok thanks missed it
This is the newest design and the top of the line model but why no front indicator lights, no side deck light and electric horn? I am waiting the version with these features lol.
Can't wait!
Pre-ordered mine today with hydraulic brakes! May seems like forever! 🤗😀
Hi Eloi, Question about the tire size. The final version is 10" x 3.5 Wide correct?
Hi !!
Correct :-)
@@eloipecquet Awesome! Thank you!
@@eloipecquet Excellent!
Do you guys sell that tool kit??
Yes we will! :-)
Is the phantom 1200 single motor or 2400 watt dual?
Each wheel is 1200 w
1200W
I appreciate the quick response. Are you planning on keeping the phantom in the lineup or will it be short term? I'm looking at purchasing two of them at once. Was going for the ghost pro but this scooter came around and now I'm definitely aiming for the phantom.
Well done guys apollo
Thank you!
Seriously I’ll buy a Phantom when I get enough money
Great solid scooter
Thanks for this! Absolute more proof I need to show the stem design of the Ghost is flawed and dangerous! I will continue to hound them abut taking back my ghost before the personal injury lawsuits start due the the dangerous wobble!
So, 2x 1200 watt hub motor, is that 2400w?
Yes. Peak power would be greater than 2,400w.
2X1200w
Will there be a Phantom Ludicrous? Waiting for that.
Yes, there will be one!
@@eloipecquet Any time estimate on arrival?
@@eloipecquet id like to know the Ludo release timing as well....
@@ianrubinoff3657 Should be in the next couple of weeks ! :-)
@@eloipecquet That’s great Eloi. What will be the major diff between the 60v and the Ludo versions?
I’d love to see you guys do all this with a carbon fibre frame! Would be a great weight saver.
Would triple the price
@@vwbora26 Would be worth every cent
@@barryamorris the weight comes mostly from the battery and the motors. The frame itself is marginal, and putting time and money for a ton of testing, moulds, engeneering and such to sell maybe a 100 overpriced scooters still too heavy is not worth it.
how about the the part you interact with most? Throttle! can we change to twist or thumb? Get rid of the FINGER throttle please!
😮...wish I could buy one...
The Phantom will be here when you are ready :-) Thank you for watching.
i would like having the option for a better battery +5 amp for more range
Sweet! Only concern is the range
We did not over inflate our range numbers. You will get a solid 40 miles.
Awesome Apollo!! I ordered the scooter and am stoked. I understand there's an eco/single motor mode to ensure a long range. Solid!
I am just about ready V2 bebe
Apollo Phantom is the one.
Sad part is I gotta wait until June to save enough $$ to buy it.
No Early access to pre-order for me.
The Phantom will be here when you're ready! We appreciate the support :-)
@@ApolloScooters I was gonna get a Onewheel XR decided was too dangerous(I'm 67 years old)Spent many hours searching online for the Best scooter.Everything has to do with"Support" for there product.-Also wanted a battery bigger than 18 Ah and 1000-1200 watt motors.Best of all about the "Phantom" is the "Double thick Stem"
I know the Phantom comes with the thumb throttle but I meant other models, Ghost etc...
Hey Johnny,
Our models such as the City 2021, Explore and Ghost have the ability to swap to different throttles! The options for these models are either the trigger style throttle or a thumb throttle like on the Phantom!
Lot of other stuff looks good like display and thicker handlebar pole.
:-)
Well, I know what scooter I'm getting now.
Not a big fan of the charging port on the side
How about a NICE SEAT that bolts to the kickplate? Actually made by Apollo? instead of the ZERO 10x seat...for this price $$$ it should come with one! (I know- i'm crazy)
Why did they add two shocks just adds weight and unnecessary weight and complication. Just like dirt bike or mountain bikes just need one quality shock like a air shock. That would be a huge improvement but also expensive I know but would be nice as a option. Also the angle of those shocks will cause a lot stress on shock and connections not a improvement at all compared to Pro. The stress put on those rods way out on the ends is not good.
Thank you for your feedback, Chris. However, everything has been extensively tested and you have to try it to truly experience the difference :-)
Warranty for 2 years though, so they must be confident.
You guys should sell a premium shock as a option. I would buy one. Sleds/snowbike that the main difference in high to low end models shocks. People will pay more for better shocks. Thanks.
Hi wyd
"They added this" and "they added that". I thought Apollo manufactures this scooter not some Chinese company deciding about design changes?
Lil bit more range Next time pls
What you plan on taking it on the highway bro lol
@@rootstriker1618 in Uber eats you do 200 km a day ...
You sho
I like the performance, the innovation, and the overall value of your products, but why are all your scooters all black (so boring) and this video so dark?!?
You can get hex keys at any hardware store. I would rather the toolkit have hydraulic brake bleed port adapters or full syringes.
My god, some people like you, will just never be happy...
@@francispoter1832 I've given them my thousands of dollars. I just want to be able to keep my brakes working. Nutt brakes don't seem to have a website or any official bleed kits that I can find, so it's a real concern.
