IMPORTANT NOTE: If you plan to AFK bait survivors yourself, please only do it if you want to see the survivors' reaction and if you plan to spare them. While I personally don't think AFK baiting is as bad as being fake friendly, some people might think that this method is toxic. This method is pretty inefficient anyways since most survivors will actively try to avoid you unless they decide to be cocky.

I know right? I think many of them don’t know. I’m a hunter main and almost all my friends are survivor mains. I always leave immediately, because even when playing survivor, I’m more biased towards the hunter but my friend doesn’t. I told her it was toxic and she said she never knew.

Yeah I would like to reword that. I don’t leave right away until I see that my teammates are safe and able to leave without getting downed. But I won’t purposely stand there, wait for the hunter and taunt them.
Honestly this would 100% work on me cuz I feel bad for hunters if they genuinely have bad ping so I stand there and wait for them to come back. I always die as a result though.

As a survivor main i will say one thing: the reason for approaching an afk isn’t always to be mean. If I admire the skin I’ll approach and enjoy getting a glimpse, or I’ll think their ping is bad and want to give them a chance.
Staying at the gate also isn’t always to taunt. Sometimes I stay and wait for the other players to make sure they got out safe.(and to pass time I’ll dance with the other survivors but I’ll quit it when I notice the hunter.)
Beiwhdkwhe Id feel really bad if a hunter ever got the wrong idea so please keep these in mind.(unless it’s obvious that they’re toxic.)
I only gate wait to bodyblock my teammates since I'm a main gardener, or to stall the hunter, otherwise you leave ASAP.

Everytime, a hunter is afk, me and my friends would start crouching and walking around the hunter. It's usually a sign that we are killing ourselves lmaooo.
That reminds me of a time when Mary was lagging, and me and my friends felt bad so we just crouched in front of her, waiting for action.

as a hunter, when i see that there is only one survivor left and eveyone else escaped, i usually just stop somewhere and wait for them to escape too. remember guys, losing a match isnt the end of the world, it's just a game, and its more fun when everyone is chill about it.
I once approached a afk hunter because I thought she was friendly (I was pretty new) and now I feel bad

I once had a match against a photographer who got really bad lag while chasing me (they were literally walking in place). I think they even got reconnected or smth. Now, I could've just run away and made them go chase someone else, but I decided to stick around and see if they were gonna come back soon. They eventually did get back into the game and we continued the chase like nothing had happened.
I ended up dying later, but I couldn't even be mad because they had En Ligne and I *_love_* that skin.

THIS IS A BIG MOOD. me and my friend play duo hunter a lot and i tell you we meet TONS of toxic survivors and those who are always waiting at the gate, taunting us, so we decide to not go to the gate and go somewhere that is far from any exit gate and dungeons. we afk baited them and some stupid ones eventually did come to us and that's when we yeeted them lmfao they could've escaped thru the gate but they decided to come to us, their fault 🤭🤭
Imagine farming off an AFK Hunter cause you probably can’t do that in an actual match. 🤭
I do it with bot matches, it's really a free win. And i try to complete my "stun hunters with pallets", "escape through dungeon" deductions.
Bot matches are fine. 👀 When I was starting, I finished them faster but when I had new characters in higher tiers, it was harder to accomplish them since they’re more experienced. Gotta win the bot match since it was given to put an end to the lose streak. :^)
ً Just never go near AFK Hunters that were actually controlled earlier on 😂 you’ll never know if being AFK is a strategy of theirs. 👀 Best not to step on the trap.

Though those were hunter matches and my hunter persona/rank is a little on the lower side 😅 maybe that also has to do with it
I feel like the geisha is obvious cuz when she looks at you the cicle pops up and when she is not it doesnt pop up
One of the things about geisha, is you have to look at ONE stop because if you look around the dash thing appears and survivors know that’s where you’re looking.
With geisha survivors can pretty much tell if ur faking.

Cowboy was still emoting (they were both near exit gate) and uh exit gate was open and suddenly the hunter start moving again (have detention) so uh cowboy lose when we're supposed to get a 4 man escape and I'm honestly triggered 🌚

You can see how they act, always waiting in gate or emotes when kiting. If that's not toxic then I don't know what is.
I did a similar thing as well, funny enough I was playing Doc too.
I approached an afk Mary, and I was going around her from a distance, and then when I finally decided to sneak under her skirt, *_Just to admire it_* , I got smacked by her, and downed shortly after.
In the post-match chat, she said: "You pervy Doc, what were you doing, crawling under my skirt ?!". Good times xD

Lucky Guy and Mind's Eye did say something in post-match chat. But it was in Russian, so I couldn't understand what they were saying (I still have the screenshot though).
Enchantress (I think) said GG in post-match chat. I got a little frustrated and told her that she could have just left through the gates.

When I see an afk survivor, I leave them because it’s not fair. Unless they’re the last of an escaped team, then I knock them down and carry them to the gate ♥️

As hunter, whenever I'm in the middle of chasing a player and they suddenly go afk. I always wait for them to come back and then let them get a new headstart and then chase after them. You never know what someone's going through.

not gonna get problematic, but this proves why the game is survivor sided. the hunters are literally running the game, and what do the survivors do? bully them while kiting, emoting at the gate, etc. And ive had my fair share of losing as a survivor, but thats cuz i cant kite or am weak against (insert hunter here). Its not fair. Just respect hunters more yall and give em a like bc it could mean alot to them even if you lost.

As someone who play survivor more than hunter I have witnessed survivors who are toxic like there was a friendly geisha and a lucky stunned her also a thief kept flashing is light at a friendly hunter it honestly makes me mad they are being friendly no need to use your ability's against them

When I decide to be a friendly hunter I stand in the pallets and spin around it to let them know that it's ok to pallet stun me or with their abilities but some survs don't and they just stare at me as if "r u seriously wanting me to stun u??" and just spin around and don't pallet stun me lmfao it's kinda cute.

One match I had a big argument with a trio ‘cause thanks to minds eyes cane we all knew the hunter was afk (or bad ping?)at one gate and I, the one being chased, had all the time to walk towards the opened gate on the other side. I left but they didn’t, the hunter reconnected and was forced to surrender...in post-chat I called them out for it and they all started to be pissed off at me because I “left early” I- 👁 👄 👁
(The cane was used 2-3 times so they had all the time)
I had a wu chang genuinely do this as a strategy, before anyone says I was toxic what actually happened was he hit me down in duo and pretended to be afk until someone came to heal me, to bait out the last survivor for the 8 kill

@@LadyBelleslettres yea before I actually start playing I hit cipher chairs and spin trying to let them know I tell them after match 2 I only do this though when I reach daily limit for logic path only time im actually toxic is if its a toxic player or a very rude player and usually I let the rest go even though I don't get deduction done

Honestly, if you don't intend to be toxic, I don't think it's bad to approach to give them company! However, it's incredibly risky because the hunter can come back any time and hit you :')

this happened to me a while back. I was playing as a hunter (blood queen, to be exact. I'm not exactly a hunter main to say at the least) and I had REALLY bad ping. my phone is so laggy no matter what side I play. I wasn't able to hit or even chair any one of the survivors, and they have already opened the exit gates. Two of the survivors immediately went out after that. I walked up to the remaining survivors and I was kinda surprised they weren't running away from me. I remember doctor and mercenary waiting for me at the exit gates and doing just. standing there. I was motioning for doctor to get out of there by doing emotes and spinning towards the outside but she was spinning with me (merc was just watching us too, I didn't have the heart to hit him since he had a nagito skin on lol) and. yeah we just spun there until my mother came to call me over for dinner giving them a free win O_O
I was kinda frustrated that time too, my sisters were calling me crazy for yelling at them to go outside already aha
You'll know the hunter is afk or just baiting if you are using a trait that notifies you if he is looking at you through his camera angle (forgot the name of the trait)
If he is not moving but you notice that his camera angle is moving because of the trait im talking about (like you notice that he looks at you then he looks at somewhere else without moving an inch) then he is probably baiting...
he is just standing there waiting for you to come close then spank ya.

Speaking about being hunted I was once in a match with my friends and when I was injured, I was like it’s fine (and I was in VC with them too) and they were chasing me around the map I was screaming so much because all of them were maining survivors that were boys and I was the only one maining a female (which is the Minds Eye and I still main her to this day) so it was basically a whole bunch of boys chasing a girl (and I really wondered the face of the hunter)

I remember the time that all of the survivors including me all are the doctor the Hunter didn’t even make one move I don’t know if they were afk or something I never saw them but we managed to open the gate with no attack I was thinking “wow what are they doing” I was about to escape but all of the other were waiting at the gate doing emotes and trying to find the Hunter by leaving the gate I stay to see what happen but sadly nothing we all escaped and two of them friend me they were Thai so I don’t know what they were saying lol
This is kinda awful and funny at the same time because of how suicide the survs are ajjdjsjsjs.
Ok but being serious if you see a surv in the beggining of the match being afk it mostly is because of bad ping. Please don't chair them, its not their fault and is unfair because mostly of the times thet don't get to play. I say this because this happened to me a lot and if you tell them to stop doing that ins post match they will just be toxic af. Please try to make this game fun for everyone
