      No it’s not it’s just a lie a hate crime involved physically assaulting someone of the other race because of their race as far as I know Justin didn’t beat up any white people... but let’s not mention the white woman who carved an O on her face during Barack’s presidency ... like that’s any less ridiculous and “hurtful” while I agree faking a crime against yourself is dumb... I also think this case was politically and racially motivated to plaster it in the media and defame black struggle so when a black persons is assaulted like happens all the time ie nia long stabbed in neck on bus for her color , the case doesn’t get 1/10th the media coverage... so in a way I’m happey this case exists because it shows you the propaganda machine of the media and how they case use a case to paint an entire race.

They were quick to make a statement and now that FACTS are coming out, they are falling all over themselves when being questioned about their statements. Nancy Pelosi deleted her tweet regarding this too.

I had my nose broken and my orbital bone broken and was out of work for 4 weeks, my eye will never be 100% again.. The guy got a slap on the wrist and was given probation. If this were the other way around I would be doing federal prison time for a felony and would have been sued for everything I own.

    We don't need to jump to some new level of second guessing or skepticism, ...we should continue to take all claims and allegations as seriously as always, ...but we do need to have more grave repercussions for false accusations and hoaxes. I suggest giving the hoaxer the same punishment that the falsely accused would have received if convicted. Make that the law, ...and you will see the hoaxes and false allegations begin to dry up some.

    • @Eden-LikeTheGarden-Rama
      @Eden-LikeTheGarden-Rama 5 лет назад +2

      I'm not sure if I totally agree with that, especially when it's not to specifically target someone by sending them to prison over false charges, but there's a distinction I want to clarify.
      Hopefully what you mean is that if the accuser is proven to have lied beyond a reasonable doubt, they should be punished, not that if the accused is found not guilty. Because then that would just scare people who think they might not have a good case from coming forward about crimes committed against them. And the sad reality is that the justice system will let some guilty people go free because there just wasn't enough evidence. We shouldn't be punishing accusers in situations like that

    • @JamieHitt
      @JamieHitt 5 лет назад

      Edi Rama - Yeah, ...there's a big difference between false allegations and insufficient evidence. And a hoax is even more complicated. How do you define a victimless hate crime? Where did the bruises come from? Was bleach poured on him? If the Nigerians still "did" all of this, ...does it "matter" who paid them? What about role playing in a "rape fantasy"? Is it the actions that constitute the crime, ...or just the perceptions of the supposed victim? Etc.
