Cebuana here and I’ve been watching your video for a year now. You’ve got lots on interesting interviews. From this interview the Venezuelan guy caught my attention, coming from China? 🤔
I appreciate hearing the honesty of s such a diverse group. Nowhere and no one is ever perfect. It still helps temper some of the false expectations others share.
Yeah it sucks to be scammed here in the Philippines Alex. I feel bad for that guy and it's always a good thing to do you're research before moving or visiting any country you plan to go to so you can at least be prepared for the unexpected
You can also download the map data for the area you're going before you leave uour home country. It's not 1980 anymore. Folks have zero excuse not knowing how to get to their destination. Even if all they have is gps coordinates of there and here.
The police should crack down on the scamming of tourists. That hurts their tourism. I'm actually having second doubts about visiting. Thanks for your advice!
I agree the police should crack down on the crooked foreigners that are praying on other foreigners. The most cheating i have seen is from US citizens. saw one pickpocket team get busted , i am not sure what happened to them and if they were expelled back to Russia.
I worked in The Philippines in 1999 till 2002, With the exception of the Pandemic I have been back every year and sometimes twice a year. It's no different to anywhere else in, so far as taxi drivers trying to rip you off as they do in all big cities. Just use "Grab" taxis and you know the price before you go . I have travelled all over the Philippines and one thing I can say is I have never felt threatened or afraid of going anywhere. It's a lovely country, lovely people and beautiful beaches and scenery .It will be your loss if you don't go.
Hi Alex. It is Errico the Cabbie! I am in Australia and have been there 4 times. I do not have any expectations of people there. I know they are resilient and beautiful. As for taxis, I had no issues in Manila last visit. Some might ask for a bit extra if they may not get a fare back. But it is a business not a charity. Just be direct with them. U.S. Westerners need to chill out sometimes and look at different perspectives. I hope to meet you one day. Maybe I can interview you and you interview me. Your videos are great! Thank you! I should be back there this month for a 5th visit.
Why? No one should have to rely on another person to ensure they arent being scammed. A lot of GF are scammers as well. Perhaps the Ph should adopt a different mindset apart from the typical 3rd world scam a foreigner one😮
What i have noticed about retiree foriegners in your interviews. When they decide and retired to their own country it seems there is something different for them to find and they found inside Asia.Maybe they found the special place to relax and most comfort. And others maybe they lived in suburban life that sometimes boring and they are comfortable in the heart of the affordable cities with complete of amenities that can help them strong and healthy.
This is Abraham. I did enjoy my time in the Philippines and am planning to be back soon. Its different from Singapore, but that is part of the charm! People were super friendly everywhere I went which was nice.
Honestly I have the worst memory and since I travel often i can't really tell which months were bad when it came to rain. I would not miss the Philippines because of rain unless I had only 1 or 2 weeks trip. Us I don't care muh for the beach personally so it didn't affect me all that much. Sorry I could be too much help with this particular question
Philippines enforcing racist laws.. on couple thousands of foreigners. But on the other hand other countries accepting millions of Filipinos. It's a corrupt racist country. If other countries would be more strict to millions of Filipinos it would be a scandal in Philippines. But if Philippines implying strictness on couple thousands of foreigners, there is no problem. Politicians in USA Japan Europe Australia should do the eye for an eye policy. But it's not realistic anyway..
What do you think of their answers? Also have you been to the Philippines? What were your expectations vs reality?

That Aussie in the gray shirt. Best looking mullet I’ve seen since Billie Ray Cyrus’. G’day Mate!
World class mullet, Joe Dirt would be jealous.

His girlfriend should’ve helped him not to be scammed by the taxi driver. She should know better.🤷🏻♀️Sorry it happened to him.

Is the Philippines in the business of pleasing everybody?
Huh? Why are you so pressed, my guy? If you're this easily offended, then this channel is not for you.
Always use Google maps. Question any wrong turns. Also use grab to estimate the cost.
@hurleywilson7246 excellent advice!
THAT GUY WHO IS RELATING STORY IN THE PHILIPPINES, DID HE GET SCAMME OR JUST
HE HEARD FROM HIS GIRL FRIEND, BECAUSE PILIPINA GOSSIPING THEIR NATION.
Hi, what's your name? My name's John lol😅
wish abraham gets his right gurl hhe, check back on him when he do, xD
I thought it’s funny you asked people if they’re dating on their holiday
You can date people on holiday?
Old men… I doubt they’re there for business.
How about you watch the video and see why they're there instead of judging people.
Taxis in Australia scam people mate, don’t blame Philippines, you need to be smart, you don’t seem to be a smart person.
Yes in Sydney refused to put the meter on
@@user-bg2ig5xc3e you should take taxis that are allocated through the Govt at the airport rank.
Whining about 300 pesos 🙄
I don't think it's the amount he is "whining" about
So its great for lonely old men or lonely geeks ...lol
