That Gather Together sign was such a find!! I love going to dollar tree for seasonal decor. I find that the thrift shops by me are pretty picked over and overpriced. I live in a big city though, so there's a lot of competition for the good stuff! I hadn't thought of going in with a budget and then saving some for live pumpkins and flowers. That's brilliant - pumpkins will last for ages and they're eye catchers for sure.
Been thrifting for years the majority of my clothes are from thrift stores and enjoy getting books from thrift stores too. My greatest find from a thrift store was a nice dining room table for $14.
Fall is beautiful here in northern Vermont, but I really don’t love it because I know it leads to six months of winter! I know how you feel about decorating, I’m going to judiciously weed through our seasonal decor soon and get rid of faded or dusty things. Time for a refresh! Something as simple as changing out the placemats can spark inspiration for me.❤
Had to laugh about cheap skate because I am too. I hate to may cost for anything even at a yard sale. I will try to jew down the price even at a yard sale. Jewed on My van My husband's truck and so much more. Lol I do Love thrift stores and yes I ask for a cheaper price at them also. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't. But never hurts to ask
