Punimi i zonarit
Zonari është pjesë e veshjes popullore të fëmijëve në formën e një brezoreje. Për realizimin e Zonarit, puna bazë zhvillohet në avlëmendë dhe më tej përdoret “teknika çimbo” (punim me gjilpëre), e cila realizohet me fije pambuku me trashësi të ndryshme. Mund të përdoren edhe fije ari ose mëndafshi. Qëndisja realizohet me teknikën e katrorëve ose kryqeve të mbushura vertikale dhe horizontale dyshe dhe është estetike edhe nga pjesa e pasme e zonarit. Qëndisen motive gjeometrike dhe ngjyra më shumë e përdorëshme është e kuqe me të bardhë dhe më pak ajo blu. Këto punime megjithëse të vogla, me vlerat artistike dhe me fizionominë e tyre të vecantë që kanë, qëndrojne me dinjitet në kostumin popullor të zonës.

Zonari is much the same colorful cloth belt as children’s traditional costume.
The groundwork to make a belt-like Zonari is practiced on the loom to further proceed with the “çimbo technique” (needlework), which is applied with cotton threads coming in different thicknesses. Gold or silk threads may also be applicable. The loom fabric weaving employs the technique of interlacing the two-ply twisted patterns of the warp threads and the weft threads and gives a nice aesthetic look even from the back of the zonari. Geometric motifs are commonly created through this style of embroidery with red and white as the most predominant colors followed by blue which is less often used. These workpieces, despite their size, given their artistic values and exceptional appearance, are decently exhibited among other elements in the folk costume of this region.
