I hope it could be a balance of both. I like fanservice, but i feel if an anime is made and its fanservice centered, it could ruin it. Especially since nikke has a good story.
Nikke overall has been pretty good at balancing eyecandy and emotional trauma, so I wouldn't be that surprised if they can pull off both

If they do make an anime, I hope the commander wont be some wuss boy who can't throw hands. In the game the Commander is described as being an absolute Adonis who is pretty strong for a human and even earns Johans respect for having keen tactical intellect.
The only commander I know who can throw a punch is the commander from Punishing: Gray Raven😆
He's also been described as pretty much a hunk by Rosanna, they better nail the design

Ever since I’ve seen nikke’s story, I’ve always wanted a anime for it
I need a Nikke anime, at first it was just a thought that came to mind but if they’re actually considering it “I NEED IT!” The story is great for it and they could even do how some mostly girl mc’s anime do and dedicate OVAs to fan service

Nikke needs to reduce the grindy factor of daily resources, it takes too long to gain a matching resource, for example like a single SR collectible item and a single matching OL armor. Wish it get fix, so the gap between an old player and new player wouldnt be so huge

I'm super keen for an anime adaptation. I'm just worried if they incorporate 3D, it's gunna be super clunky... But also if they go full 3D, and not 2D, they might just go full budget and the jiggle could be top tier. And the Raptures could look sick.
4:49 is so right, they need to give better buff for Core 7 Units too, because so far, the Treasure item out power the Core 7 units. So it's cheaper to just give them treasure than Core 7 Unit AND more powerful too.

Honestly, i wouldn't mind Nikke anime that goes either main story focus or a more SoL focus on the side stories (events and bond stories, or something like the Anne Cafe manga).
The concerns i have for the former is that i think it's going to be tough to nail, they will have a lot on their plate and there are the risks of handling any adaption changes. Blue Archive comes to mind, they made somewhat minor changes in the anime that really did not sit well with me. The main issue was skipping the tutorial story part which i think was important to setting up the world and Sensei. While less likely (BA main story is split into volumes that aren't directly connected), something similar could happen with Nikke. I guess one of the key things will be the Commander, he's not a blank slate but his personality...
While i say SoL for the latter, it doesn't have to stay in that genre if it goes with event stories. I mean, anyone who plays Nikke knows how quickly the story takes a turn. Same for the Bond stories, they vary a lot in tone. Both could fit well as a bunch of OVA episodes. If the episodes are self-contained for the most part, it should make it easier with handling the Commander and his behaviour.
While i think it's safe to say a lot of players would be interested in those 2 examples, I can't say the same for this next one so i'm going kinda seperate it as speaking for myself. I would love to see new stories that's kinda just everyday life for the nikkes and other characters. Given the setting, 'everyday life' doesn't have to mean the usual SoL fluff, like we could follow various squads going out on missions unrelated to the commander/player (...oh god, it occured to me that some will scream NTR or whatever bs).
Hell, i'd honestly be interested in seeing life from the PoV of a normal person in the Ark, hearing news of the fight that's happening outside of their world.
On the part about "who starts playing a gacha because of a anime?"... well, me. I started this smaller gacha game (EoS in a year or so) because of a Madoka collab and of course there's Record. Now there's Exedra that i'm going to try once it's out.
Hard to say with the bigger gacha games since i've played them before they got an anime and the anime can be a hit or miss. I've already mentioned Blue Archive so i'll skip repeating that. I haven't heard great things about the Azur Lane anime so i've avoided it but i enjoyed Slow Ahead anime. I think i've heard mixed things on the GFL anime so i've avoided that but i enjoyed the slightly strange SoL one.

It's would be quite funny if they take the collaboration with Re:zero as a sign of how big nikke is, when in reality the month of that collab was one of the lowest revenue-wise so far.
Can't do much about that, Wuthering Waves dropped and everyone and there mom's were playing it, even I dropped my 3 other Gachas for wuthering waves for that month and a half.

@@thefool8641 Funny, RUclips didn't like my comment giving the exact date of the event and the release of the game you mentioned. Let's try in a simplified way: the collab event ended in early April and the game you mentioned was released by the end of may. Your argument has true in it thought, just not for the collab- the Soda and Alice bunny event was likely affected by the release of the game you mentioned.
The whole problem with anime adaptations of gacha games is they always end up being ads for the game first and art that stands on its own as a good work second. Nikke ahs potential to be one of those ecchi series that actually tells a fun and action-packed story. Instead, they always end up just being ecchi slice of lifes with bad animation and pointless, go-nowhere plots. I would rather never see a Nikke anime than see that happen. So fingers crossed that if they do it, they put their foot down and make sure it gets done right. Nikke should be a multi-season story, not a one and done 12 episode ad. And for God's sake, make an official Commander character, dont do the stupid faceless protag that never speaks shit. It doesnt work in the anime format.
I still consider OverZone would make for a better anime. It released before Red Ash and works well that way, since there was some mystery surrounding Lilith and the previous events.
The only issue I see coming is that so many people have idea they want to see on the screen, but if it doesn't play out, then they'll hate on it.
I would love to see the story of Nikke from the beginning, before the commander, before the first nikke was built. What happened in the world that caused the downfall of humanity. Would they do it? Probably not, seeing as how they want to milk the story in the game as much as they can and give us teasers as to what's next.

they could take story directly from the game. i can see episode 1 being the events leading to and including Corruption from the game. there is enough to make season end with the fight with Modernia. season 2 could easily be 6 episodes of Overzone, and 6 episodes of Re:Dash, or if they want to stick to main story, easily take all the ingame events leading to Invasion. after episode omakis could be scenes from the Event stories. there would easily be the trope of the Onsen/Swimsuit episode.
Gogo, Uma Musume is the horse girl racing game. the anime has like 4 seasons and a Spinoff series
Nikke getting either an Anime or Manga would be HUGE! Setting could be opened up so much more other than just playing as the command in game.
The part where people were discussing getting into a gacha because of an anime is irrelevant. It said right there in what you read that the purpose of it was to engage existing users. It's not about drawing people from the anime.

Nikke anime can easily be 4+ seasons just on campaign alone and the main side stories like the anniversary events could be animated ovas or movies

The animation will most likely be something like a 3min animation showing the story so far/ the story in the future like Fate Grand Order's story trailers.

So there is a Japanese game called Princess Connect Re: Dive that I don't know anything about, but a major studio made an anime of it and it is absolutely beautifully animated. I feel Nikke is just as big if not bigger than this game and if they go as huge as Princess Connect went with their anime than you better believe I'll watch it! I really hope they put the time and money into it to produce something worthwhile.

This is gonna be epic! Imagine Overzone with a story direction similar to gundam iron blooded orphans or cyberpunk edgerunners, the thought of them animating that one Red Ash scene where Red Hood and Snow white skydive out of a plane without a parachute, guns blazing while knocking out raptures in the sky and they definitely need to animate the legendary commander screaming "mecha destructor!" As he summons Lilith. PURE. ABSOLUTE. CINEMA. It's gonna be so peak it'll leave us breathless.
Although, I wouldn't mind if they decide to animate different characters' pov to give the rest of us a fresh take on the world of nikke as well as its background. Perhaps an unknown deuteragonist commander or a mass-produced nikke from the past so that we can focus on the current campaign storyline more in the game. This is so exciting! More Firepower to Shift Up!
The trouble with these gacha anime adaptations is balancing fanservice and story. Some players only want the characters being hot doing cute things (see Azur Lane Slow Ahead) while some want a story adaptation (see Blue Archive animation). If they only focus on Nikke story it'll be good and with fanservice but not show a bunch of different characters. Either way I'm happy, and I want the EXPANSION of the first shower scene with Counters.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners made me play cyberpunk. Ik its not a gacha game, but if a show is good, it will make people check out other stuff in the ip.

Personally I don't care about a Nikke anime. What I would like to see is them improve the animation quality for the few scenes we get in game, as they are kinda low quality.

Doga Kobo is the best animation studio for NIKKE
I’d personally LOVE a NIKKE anime made by Studio Madhouse. Madhouse is responsible for animating HoTD, so I believe they would be able to animate NIKKE perfectly as well. HoTD also had a lot of fan service scenes, which is also the same for NIKKE, but not as abundant. Doga Kobo is also a fine choice; Oshi No Ko was PEAK and I completely agree with that option too.
Dream come true it to see Rapi and Scarlet on Anime hope that the studio who animate One piece gone take Nikke.
Even Arknights, that should have been extremely easy to put into motion in an anime given the scale of the first arc was incredibly mid.
For some god forsaken reason (the money), FGO is the only one that manages to be a decent action flick (and it's plain bad story wise).
Gacha adaptations have always had horrible dialogues, cheap actions scenes, mediocre storyboarding and bottom of the barrel stories.
And for Nikke, as an added bonus, you have to make gunfights against giant robots look good AND believable, while also making the commander's survival logical.
It IS possible if they actually put effort in it, but I have 0 confidence in such a project.

I think for nikke anime personally for it to be successful imo just my opinion it needs to be paced well no rushing i think anime should have focus on both events and main story edventally side stories as well there are some events that have people's favorites that arnt um main story yet like helm marciana i believe d another might be worng cuase only doing main story anniversary events kinda would just hurt series overall another thing is possibly deponding on how it done extend some chapters cuase some are pretty short add new things would be nice and make commander main character in anime think important to emphasize him as character but i think nikke anime can be great very successful if done right

Been asking for an anime in every Survey I've done amd sure I wasn't the only one. Hell yeah! If they can do it right and avoid the Azur Lane ones issues it could be great. Just fight scenes vs boss fights alone would be a reason to tune in

If nikke gets an anime, I just hope it doesn't go the maken ki route. I like fanservice, but if its the only focus and commander, it just a dense mc i think it'd ruin the anime. Nikke has a great story, so it'd be a waste for the anime to sideline it.

Nikke animated cutscenes aren't really good, don't get me wrong it's okay it gets the job done but the animation sometimes feels stiff or some characters are not drawn right and if you guys go check out Blue archive newest animated cutscene (hina vs hoshino) than you'll see that nikke needs better animated cutscenes but i extremely happy that nikke will get a anime because there is souch potential and story in Nikke.

For all my hate of BA's stupid story and characters, at least they know how to use their money.
I feel like they serve 0 purpose given how forgettable they are.
The animated cutscenes are a mixed bag. The story related ones are usually really bad while the events are much better animated like Red Ash and the previous Summer Event.
@@redalert199 Red Ash flight with Cinderella was not good , it felt rush, have you seen dorothy face and the stiffness of the animation in some parts but it was better than the others.Their promotional animated videos are good.
@@scarletbullet9438 It was good compared to the main story cutscenes that have really bad art with most Nikke looking really off compared to their in game animations.
Dorothy and Scarlet looked a bit awkward in the fight but I guess the fight had to be rushed to fit within a certain time limit as animation is very expensive these days.
