Thank you for not doing the usual "Celine was groomed!" Video. Although I understand people's reservations about their relationship and I personally wouldn't want it for myself or my daughter, Celine WAS an adult and they were together for 30 years. It's not my place or anyone else's place to tell her that she was abused and groomed, that their love wasn't real and that she's "traumatized" and doesn't know it. It's actually very insulting to do so.
She is a full grown woman and has been for a very long time and she does NOT feel that way. And I don't know why people would rather her be traumatized, feeling exploited and lied to and like she never had real love and it's sick. She feels that he was her true love, that they had a great marriage and she misses him. And I would rather have that then the alternative.
She was an adult a 12 yrs old? What century do you live in.
She's a real world example of a cautionary tale.
she was 12 when they met. he mortgaged his house for her. he watched her grow up, be infatuated with him, and then the moment she was legal, they started a relationship. he had a duty of care towards her that he violated by exploiting their power dynamic and her gratefulness towards everything that he’d done to pull her and her family out of poverty and catapult her to global stardom. she never had a chance to fall in love with anyone but him, and I don’t blame her at all. but he should have known better and drawn the line. she may not feel traumatised and he may not have had malicious intent, but it was grooming.
i’m glad she felt happy and supported in her relationship though. I guess that’s the best case scenario anyone can hope for.
Anyone who doesn't feel the understanding of love transcending everything including age is a tragedy ♡

I’ve finally learned to live with the grief of my mother’s death and the guilt I’ve felt that I let her down (I didn’t really, but I’ll always feel that way). She has fallen apart also. She hasn't been the same since and has lost so much weight and just doesn't have the same glow to her. She tries as hard as she can but it's easy to see she's pretty broken.

Idk man, it’s still weird they met when she was literally 12 and worked together through her teenage years before they got together romantically. I’m glad they had a wonderful life together, glad that it worked out for them, but I just can’t disagree with her family and can’t approve of it on principal.

René died in 2016. I was at her fantastic [final, unknown and at the time] show hours before his passing. I woke up the desk day and saw a mobile billboard on the Strip, I couldn’t believe it. I knew she had to have known he was very sick. So much of the show was about him and greeted with much applause! Crazy story if all is true (video states his death was in 2014), and would further explain lasting heartbreak… We love you Celine!!!

Sve mafijasi ili politicari sto je isto, jer prava ljubav ne broji godine nego pare. To su sve dede koje su ostavile zenu i decu da bi sada vodali nesto mladje. Kad tvoj muz ostavi tebe radi velike ljubavi sadevetnaestogodisnjakinjom onda pisi o ljubavi. Ovde je u pitanju dete od 12 godina koje on verovatno od tada zlostavlja i sigurno da mu nije prva, samo je prva ciju je karijeru uspeo da uzdigne pa se i ozenio da ima kontrolu i nad parama.

Couse I also losing my mommy couse cancer to... Day by day looking how hurt she is but I can't do anything because her treatment on hospital is already unuseful because her body reject it.
