is this for the campaigns or the automations? I wouldn't rely solely on that - it's why we use a mixture of faire email, klayvio, and Faire DM as you can't rely on one method getting through
Hi Lucy! Great vid! A couple questions! 1. If you are just starting to respond to reviews do you go all the way back to when you started even if that’s years ago? And 2. With international shipping how the heck do you see what postage would be….in another video you mentioned your customers were seeing crazy shipping rates. I wonder if this is what is happening to international customers? I’ve had international open since I started but have gotten maybe three orders from outside NA in the last three years. And 3. How often should you message customers? I sent messages to a bunch about a month ago and it worked out so well! But now how long do I wait? lol thank you! I look forward to your videos every week ❤❤❤
1. I'd maybe go back a month? Anything longer than that can look a bit weird and also it does have the date on it so people will see how long it took you to reply 2. Faire have a new shipping system you can opt into to set your shipping rates so it's more transparent :) We ship by ourselves so the shipping rates we have for customers are what e set them as per our warehouse 3. standard messaging we do is every week any abandoned baskets, every month chase for reviews on orders, and every month also go back 6 months - a year to chase anyone who hasn't ordered in a while, and then you can message on new launches too!
Hi! I love your videos! I just added about 10 products to my faire account but I don’t know how to activate my account? When I click view shop it says “you can activate this page from your portal” but when I go to my portal I don’t see where I can activate my account. What can I do?
Hey! not something I have come across before, your site should be active already if you are able to add products to it. you will have to contact faire support directly from your portal if you can't find the button for it, sorry I can't be of more help
So many brands on faire are overpriced unfortunately… i remember when wholesale was 50% of the retail price these days are lucky to get 25% so there’s no profit in it for the retailers once you take Postage, VAT inport charges if international.. it’s not worth it.
yeah it's getting harder to shop around, and Faire makes it more expensive for brands to list on wholesale so the price has gone up, but they are still out there! Our wholesale prices give a 2.62 margin and is more than 50% of RRP
Hi Lucy, my daughter and I started a Stationery business and first applied onto Faire way back in April, then 6th May and then 6 June. Each time we get a - you are on the waiting list message but have not heard anything else from them so far. How long does it take to get accepted onto Faire?
@@amandajennings9991 oh ages at the moment they are swamped! Especially if they’ve got a lot of your type of business already. You can try applying through my referral links in the video that’s been known to help a bit and I can see if there is any pushing I can do my end, when I’ve asked faire before they’ve said just keep applying
I used to message my customers on Faire more regularly but AT LEAST half of them don’t ever respond. Even when I have a legitimate question about their order! I don’t know how to improve customer interaction on Faire - it feels like a lot of people just don’t check their messages.
Yeah I we message customers A LOT on our accounts and also clients accounts and hardly ever get responses. Same goes for emails. These are busy people they likely won't respond but that doesn't mean they haven't taken it on board. How I see it is when everyone else is giving up on messaging customers when no one responds, we will keep messaging them and delivering value - and remember with faire you are pandering to two parties - the customer and the algorithm!
Hi Lucy! I have been watching all your videos since l apply for Faire. Great Infos. By the way once someone is onbtheir waiting list how long does it usually take to get an answer? I didn't answer many things, l thought they would ask much more. Thank you
it's taking ages to get through at the moment, they are swamped with applications, I'd keep applying every 2 months and use the link in our video description as referral links seem to work better, I've had a few people on this channel manage to get in :)
Do you have a shop front? Think they usually want to have proof of business via website or photo of store front, unless they have updated their policies. It's a 3 min job to apply so best way to find out is to just apply!

Definitely reply publicly! Shows you are engaged to anyone else reviewing the page. Only need to speak with them directly if resolving a bad review :)

Another fab video! What are your thoughts on top shop launching next month? Is it worth trying to gain status as one?
yes I think it's going to be great! Definitely aim for it, we are sure that the algorithm will prioritise top shops over non top shops :)
