I suggest swapping the location of the flasher relay and the horn. I had a hell of a time trying to get the horn to fit on the right side, ben the mount in a pretzel and back.. After about an hour I just swapped the two and the horn fits easily behind the headlight in the middle. Also, the 2 mounting points when the bracket for the horn and flasher screw into are plastic, don't tighten the screws too tightly or the plastic will turn to shit, I learned the hard way. Other than that, fantastic kit, love it.

I have an aftermarket headlight with hi low and drl. The harness on the light has a spare blue wire. I’m curious if that needs constant power supply for drl? Also working with 2024 wr. Also hi beam lo beam not differentiating.
Quality. Chinese parts or quality parts. Lifetime warranty on anything we manufacture. Also we don’t hook to the battery and have to have an on/off switch. Everything we sell is plug and play off the factory lighting system.
@@captainamerica9353pretty sure most markets have the WR as street legal from the factory. Kinda annoying we have to do all of this + various dmv/titling bs in some parts of America.

Wish you would make a video on the install for the new 2024 WR450. How much different is the installation on the 2024?
I will. Honestly very little difference though.

Will this work on a 2019 wr450F?
@@Motoriden yes
Does the kit work for a 2008 model?
We have a kit for that bike. Email parts@truenorthmotos.com and we can get you dialed.
Does this work on the new 2024 model?
Waiting for one to get fitted soon to confirm.
What is the cost for the kit for the 2023 WR450?
$400. www.truenorthmotos.com/yamaha-kits/wr450f-and-wr250f-dual-sport-kit-with-turn-signals
And does it include the license plate holder?
It is sold separately. There are a couple different options on the website.
good video but when you make a video please turn off the radio in the background
@@JohnHofker normally do, but unfortunately this had to shot in a different repair shop that was open for business.
Does it include the front light? or is that original?
That’s original.
What makes your kit $400 when street ohv sells one for $170?
Quality. Chinese parts or quality parts. Lifetime warranty on anything we manufacture. Also we don’t hook to the battery and have to have an on/off switch. Everything we sell is plug and play off the factory lighting system.
Also no place to mount the license plate and our kit mounts to the factory underfender location. Buy what kit makes the most sense for you.
I went ahead and bought your kit after more research on the crummy OHV kit. I’m looking forward to installing it on my bike!
Appreciate the support!
Yamaha won't sell a street legal version themselves, since they hate money.
Same with no estart two stroke.
They sell them in OZ and NZ, though. In fact the WR is the biggest selling Enduro (dual sport) in those countries.
