Great redux to a great boss theme. She has always been my favourite villian became of her theme, she wanted to cause all time and space to fall into one singularity, the time compression, where all time and space draws to a single point, she even becomes a black hole in causing this event.
Hey guys, thanks for all of the comments. I will get to work on a V6 if you would like me too! Just get me as a much feedback as possible and will work on those certain areas.
@liaguris That's true, though I also think it could be Yλτιμίσια, rather than Ουλτιμίσια. I think it's written Yλτιμεχια here because it's a certain greek font. The letter C in that font is the Chi, so I think Yλτιμεχια would be Ultimecia typed into that font literally.
At 1:22 is when you should drop the the bass. I think it would be really interesting to try a dubstep approach to this type of song, but it would have to take alot of work to keep the melody intact. If not its still good i just there was more variety in the remix and not a duplicate of the song if that makes sense. The hard bass lines in the song are what give so much power to the piano part. Good work though :D
@ScytheYasha I wish he was still alive, because I would've loved to have gained permission to use some of his material to combine with mine.. I will give it several listens and pick out bits which I like and may use as an influence (but it wont be a rip from his, because I respect his honour.) - because I love how he expresses the motif of the piece by decorating the melody and the strings stand out really well.. I was thinking of doing V6 for a long time; I do find it hard.
@ProjectArcangel I'll see what I can do; V6 is taking me a long time.. Mostly because I want it to be spot on with the expression and I'm trying to see what I can write; in some areas where I feel it's too little... Hmm. I'll be kicking the bass and kit up a notch.
All I can say about improving this would be to make it louder and have more emotion it feels too quiet but aside from that this is a amazing remix of the song very nice job
dude u should use a musik program like Fruity Loops (i use it). to me this sounds about as klose as you can get to midi without aktually being midi. Nice instrumentals tho.
BlazeCam We were just curious, because the name Ultimecia in this video, is grammatical incorrect according to us Greek, just because the name is used by Greek letters. Or just because other people like to use Greek alphabet letters, they use them wherever they like without noticing grammatical mistakes or meaning of the words.
+squallkelly1 Eh, and nobody of you guys came to the idea that Ultimecia in Greek might have a slightly different name? For example the german translation of her name is "Artemisia", so maybe in greek it is indeed something like Ultimechia or so?
It's neat but it's not very... Extreme. It's a little too silent. It's nicely done but it doesn't jar my soul like the original or the Black Mages versions.

love it! personally this one captures more the grace and version 4 captures the twisted-ness.

Awesome pic!

@acariciagatos
The word you're looking for is Arrangement but you're right if the melody's the exact same it's not a remix it's an arrangement
Great Job !!!!
@ScytheYasha Yes everybody play this with v2, sounds good.
Sounds good. Nice job. ;)
@LIonGraphiK I'd love a mixture between V4 and 5. The creepyness from V4 combined with the instrumental parts from 5

personally i liked those epic orchestra in the beginning of V4

@ScytheYasha could u post a link to this "best" version id like to compare them
I would say, if you combined the tones of the extreme remix v2 into this one, it would be perfect
@LIonGraphiK p.s. I am sorry for the inconvenience, I am still just an amateur at this kind of thing;)
@ScytheYasha I'll get on to it.
All I can say about improving this would be to make it louder and have more emotion it feels too quiet but aside from that this is a amazing remix of the song very nice job
Version 6 on its way!
@LIonGraphiK
Of course that works too =]

@AlluMan96 Mm, maybe it's just.. a remaster? I'll change the name.
imagination game ff8 was good
dat triangle bro.
Who wrote "Ultimecia" in Greek I wonder?
squallkelly1 don't know who wrote it but it's grammatically incorrect. Correctly it would be written "Ουλτημισια" or "Ουλτεμισια"
Alexandros Gorgippios Apla paraxeneutika! To exoun grammeno lathos. An den xeroun pws na to grapsoun, tote giati to grafoun?
Epeidh goustaroun thn elliniki alphabhto, tha elega egw twra. Kai sto game mesa eida arketes fores epigrafes oti na'nai me ellinika grammata
