With all your new and great Taiwan vlogs, I think this will be a country I will visit when the pandemic is over. Your Japan vlogs were a big help when I went to Tokyo last year, and I am sure your Taiwan vlogs will do the same. Vivre le Taiwan libre!
We usually don't eat the green orange right away, leave it for a few days ,it'll turn into a little yellow and not so sour~ If you want to peel the orange peel, start from it's bottom
I love the adventures and the fun you are having exploring the are around your new home. The noodle place looks amazing just not sure I could handle it as you said its spicy. It is so cool that you can fly you drone again soon. I love your style, its super cute. As always I wish you and T the best in your adventures.
I’m in bed, nearly asleep and you showed all the yummy food 😮. Now my tummy is growling.😂🤣 Looks like you’re having a lot of fun, checking out lovely new friends and places. The park area with the green pool was so pretty, restful, easy on the eye. Congrats on getting your drone licence, can’t wait to see where you find to fly. We have twenty cases in NS, mostly Halifax and burb areas, wired because we really haven’t had more than two cases at a time since August , when the students got back. There are like 6 or seven warnings today, places where people might have been in contact, two restaurants, a bus route, a gym, soccer Center, Canada games Center, all places where lots of people go😱. It’s to be expected I guess, we knew there would be a fall wave, it’s just creepy again. I rarely go out, just for a walk by the ocean, once in awhile to a store for groceries, but there’s not really anything I need.......except a nice lookin, ,rich ,man my age with either a cabin on a lake or the sea to spend time with. The best thing about going to a new country is trying all the food. You are slowly but surely giving me a list of things to look for whenever I get a chance to visit Taiwan XD

Omg Jenn! My partner and I are addicted to the fireplace! We watch it every night before bed. I love it and it really helps me sleep too! Thanks for the video!
Packed a lot of good stuff in this video! Food is always going to my favorite element, but looking forward to the channel getting into some drone footage. Thanks for getting out and sharing!
It’s so fun seeing you explore and wow! All those different kinds of fruits! I think I have to go to Taiwan for a vacation sometime in the future.. when the pandemic is over, I’ve gotten my degree, a job and with that the money to travel ❤️😂
Hi, it was the first time watching your video, I enjoyed it. Hsinchu is my hometown and currently live in Vancouver, Canada. Please keep filming more video in Hsinchu. I miss Hsinchu.
16:32 Is there any typhoon around Taiwan at that week? Bc usually the sky turns purple to orange during sunset due to the typhoon effect even it is still far away from the island.
Right!! That was right before a typhoon (didn’t his where I am though) & I had a lovey Taiwanese local tell me on IG that sunsets are always like that right before a storm 💯
All the food in the vlog looked so good 🤤 I only tried Taiwanese beef noodles once while I visited but I really want to eat more. OMG those clothes stores looked so cute 🥺 I liked the jacket you tried on in store!
That GREEN orange is ummature, and so it is sour. After it is mature, it turns into ORANGE color, and then it tastes more sweet, and less sour. November is just the beginning of the Taiwan oranges season. Wait till January of the next year, oranges in Taiwan will taste much more better - if you don't like its sour flavor now.
oh wow those noodles look so tasty!!! 🤤 i love spicy food but still might be a little too much haha! That sunset was beautiful 😍 looking forward to more travel videos and drone footage soon!!
It happens to be persimmon season around Hsinchu areas this time of year. You may try out some greener, or some redder ones of persimmon in the markets. They taste very differently.
It's called "persimmon cake", a very old way of preserving too many grown persimmons during fall every year, they can be stored in refrigerator for about a month to keep from being rotten, and is also very tasty while feeling not like eating a kind of fruit at all.
I‘m so jealous seeing people live their best lifes again. Seems like it‘s almost back to normal in Taiwan? Where I live people are depressed and in our second lockdown.. damn I miss having a nornal life
Hsinchu is also well known for its beef noodles! Each restaurant has its own ingredients and recipes, so you can try out different flavors. Mandarin orange is one of Hsinchu county's famous agricultural product. The ripe season is from winter to early spring. You can find varieties with different colors (orange/green), peel thickness, and sizes from fruit stands.
Hey Jenn! Loved the video! The food looks too good to be true. Do people usually also drink the noodle broth? I'm glad to see you making friends and also uploading so frequently! Must be nice to still have nice weather, in Korea it already got soo cold these days. Btw recently I recommended your channel to a friend and turns out she also already follows you for over 2 years and we bonded big time over that and were fangirling hahaha.
The green orange is more like the Japanese mikan 蜜柑. I think it’s called tangerine or Mandarin orange. Another variety that will come out around Lunar New Year is called 茂谷 mougu that is very juicy and sweet. You should try it then.
Me to love apple wax, and I want to recommend to you how it tastes better with that fruit. In Malaysia, we always eat with sauce. the ingredients are sweet soy sauce or soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and put some chilli slices. Mix it, and you can smear it with Apple was. milk melon can try with sour powder too.
At our country we have sweat soy sauce and salt soy sauce. I thing at Taiwan also have the same soy. When you test with the sauce I recommended it feel more better and feel more yummy 😄. This is how my country eat with apple wax, green mango, jambu batu( u can google it for the name) cause I saw u have try that fruit too.

OMG!!!!! I cant wait to travel and go and eat my heart out 🥰😂 I will start with the beef noodles for sure 🥰I love those thick noodles ...got so hungry haha 😆 annnd all the fruitsss -cant wait 💕
The oranges could have green skin to prevent sunburn, it's chlorophyll produced on the peel of orange citrus to protect itself from sunburn. I wonder where they were grown it could be from Australia as I have seen green skinned oranges before but not for a long time now, maybe we export our green oranges and import orange oranges who knows what goes on the world nowadays. Anyway seems like you are settling in very well and the people seem very very nice and the food is awesome.
Everyone I’ve met so far is super nice and always willing to help me whenever needed. I’m so thankful 😭👌🏻 And interesting 🤔 I didn’t know that about oranges! Taiwan has a subtropical climate so, I wouldn’t be surprised if these oranges were grown here.
We have a store just open up in my town that has these dishes. You should try one that is a dry noodle (these thick noodle) with tomato and pork mince, ofc spicy too. It's so good!
What city are those restaurants in? I like to try those places when I'm able to visit again. And wax apples are awesome! I also get those when I'm there.

The green orange you now ate were "pon-guang" (椪柑)grown in southern part of Taiwan. If you stay Zhubei until at least spring of next year, go to eastward of Zhubei, a small conty called "Chuan-ling" (芎林),there grows and sells many smaller, more yellowish color oranges up in the hills until elevation of 2,3 thousand feets. The name of that variety of small orange is "沙糖橘”, or "sugercane suger" orange translated into english name. Just give it a try at least. Much better taste and flavor than ”茂谷柑” from Japan. I bet you'll never foeget it and be glad you once tried it already in your life.

The melon should be kept for another few days until it is ripe. It will be softer and sweeter. And this applies to many fruits here.

God bless you Jen and T . And thanks again for sharing your “new” life with us here on RUclips land.
They never push out my videos for you 😔 if you turn on notifications, I wonder if it might work? No guarantees though with youtube 🙃
Omg that giant shaved ice 🤤🤤🤤
It was delicious !
Hello, welcome to Taiwan after the epidemic, bless you
