    4 more to 600! Keep it up! Love this channel! Makes me feel old, all the while letting me see what I missed because I wasn’t born yet.

    That Mario Bros. commercial is the Nintendo and Car 54, Where Are You crossover that we never knew we wanted, but always secretly needed.

    Casio Entertainment Center with a keyboard 🎹 was cool, I’m 57 and ate and slept MTV back then and never saw that before in my life till now lol .

    Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry?
    Love that song. Thought of it right when I saw boy George. Lol

    I would gladly eat a thousand Snickers bars while listening to The Cars.

    I had the second Casio keyboard from the left of the displayed keyboards. I originally wanted the Yamaha Synthesizer but it was too much.

    MTV News-R.I.P JJ Jackson and Gary Richrath(REO Speedwagon guitarist seen in the bit at the very beginning)..
    a) Boy George was looking a bit disheveled there
    b) Laurie Anderson had a good concert in Tempe once back then
    Private Affair with The Cars-heard the contest winner wasn't even a big Cars fan lol
    SkyFi Solar Radio-Consumer Reports shouldve looked into the company,cause that was most surely a ripoff

      The commercial here is essentially a condensed version of the video for "I Love L.A." with some Nike/Olympics stuff thrown in. This was probably an ad that aired only on MTV. ruclips.net/video/KcADqxnQA_4/видео.htmlm49s

    Mario pre-Nintendo days. Wow!

      @80sCommercialVault  6 лет назад +2

      Mario did not exist "pre-Nintendo". The Atari game here was a port of the original arcade game *made* by Nintendo.

      "I Love You Suzanne" was a marginal hit off the New Sensations album. It peaked at #28 on the Rock Singles chart. I remember seeing the video for the song on MTV and WTBS' Night Tracks.
