Moved to Florida 25 yrs. ago and was never inclined to research the local history UNTIL stumbling on Shannon's channel. She makes learning history interesting and fun. I've fished the lakes in that area for years and knew nothing of the fascinating and colorful past.....Thank you Ms. Burns..

I like the down home look of this town, and their taking pride in the past by preserving old structures. That shows much more character than new construction. Makes me want to load up a trailer and move.

i used to live here back in 2003 to 2005 on 200 across from the diner! i remember going to the chicken place in town all the time!
