My family was stationed there from 1977-1981....I was 10-14 yrs old.......Some of my friends were, Jackie Thompson, Debbie Hahn, Pam, Tami, Jason Johnson, LaTisha, Mary Wisenburger.... We had gym in those plane hangers...and our middle school was set up like a college....what magical times!!!
Thanks for the shots of Eriswell Drive. We lived at 18 Eriswell from late 73 til 74. I was 12 when we moved there. Do you remember the bully named Pete Long? lol Vince and Robbie Cervantes, Mark Vicari, the Banes, Rolf Hall
I'll bet windshield wiper blades sell briskly in England. I've flown into Ft. Walton Beach, FL several times in my little 172 and there is a special corridor you MUST use to be legal when landing there to avoid all the traffic from Eglin AFB. Interesting video.
hey Julie. Pretty cool. I miss it over there. Enjoy it. My dad was stationed there a long time ago now. I was back to visit in 2010. We lived on Eriswell Dr.
Hi Michael. I was just there as a kid while my dad was stationed there. However, I loved the area and have traveled back there. I think you can't go wrong with being stationed overseas in europe and getting to experience places like England.
Lol I'm English , grew up round there yer we noticed many Americans struggled to understand the side of the road they need to be on ,to many times when some enormous American truck blissfully driving down the middle of the road strait towards me😆
I live in Greece these days it's quite confusing for me getting used to driving on the same side as you do in the states, and looking for traffic lights that hang 20ft above ur head and not just on the side of the road .😆
Where do you live now? Somewhere really nice, I suppose? Actually, the wqeather has really perked up in the past couple of days - which is rotten when you're working all day!
We used to take our kids to the Lakenheath Village playground (98-02) They loved it there!
Drove that stretch a thousand times. Lived on Feltwell. Worked at the 'heath. So, so much fun. Those were the days!

Funny, but I remember so many sunny days when I was there way back when. :) But that is definitely a good old English day.
