Johaylon Personally, Alan never should've married Judith in the first place. Everyone, including Charlie tried to talk Alan out of marrying Judith but Alan claimed that he saw things in Judith no one else did. If they’re equal then they split the belongings like another divorce stereotype depending on what is needed (e.g. The husbands name is on the house but the wife needs to commute so she gets the car). It’s not a sexist thing at all, it’s just the majority of the stories we hear and I assume the majority of alimony instances are women who sit back and wait for their ex husbands to work extra hard to pay for his future and then hers. There are other factors in on it but alimony laws ought to be changed like an income threshold and the alimony receivers are to get a job etc.

Two and a Half man was originally the best satire comedy there is, then they killed of Charlie and the entire show start going down hill from there onwards
juiweiYang2000 after Charlie was gone, it was horrible to see how they purposely destroyed what the show used to be. It was so mean spirited. They started ruining Charlie's character, even claiming he knew all along he had a daughter and decided to pay her mom to keep her away from him, when there was actually one episode in which he thought he has a son and was showing interest in the kid.
@@KBlade1 yes, Charlie was always shown as a guy with no morals but deep down you knew he cared about Jake and Alan, they showed that at least in the first few seasons, I haven't watched in so long.

Instead, Lorry proved Charlie was right about him and turned the show into a "I hate Charlie" fest. It was cringy. I did watch season 9 completely, because I was a huge fan of the show and I've always liked Ashton so I decided to give it a chance. And out of curiosity too, train wrecks are amusing to watch. But after that season was over I was done with it. And from what I heard it just got worse and worse. I think I may have seen some clips of later episodes cuz I remember seeing Charlie's daughter and they kid who eventually replaced Jake, but I don't remember seeing a full episode.

The show has been going downhill since the half man grew up and become annoying.

And he also had a shitty lawyer who wanted to have revenge on charlie by punisihing Alan by giving all he has to judith. Charlie is very at fault about how poor Alan is, other than letting him live at his house
Johaylon Personally, Alan never should've married Judith in the first place. Everyone, including Charlie tried to talk Alan out of marrying Judith but Alan claimed that he saw things in Judith no one else did. I think really Alan was just desperate for companionship as he's always had bad luck with women and he probably figured he would never do any better than Judith. I mean Alan let Judith bully him through their whole marriage and even long after their divorce. I even recall Charlie once saying that Alan married the only woman who would touch his penis. Although, Alan insisted that wasn't true.
Yeah, that is also true.
Alexander Edward Pytko If I had to guess, Judy reminded Alan of his mother. Cold, callous, selfish, vindictive, greedy and self-centered emotionally. Its stated by therapist that often times, men grow older and settle down with females with similar aspects to their mother because it feels familiar and safe. If not, men usually go the complete opposite route simply out of spite but yeah, in Alan's case, I'm sure it was that

You know as somebody who’s been married 3 times. I feel Alan’s pain. But thankfully I married young and my two ex wives remarried anyway. And I never had kids with them. THANK GAWWWD.
You didn't learn your lesson the first two times?
@@shrim1481 you know it’s a funny thing. i learned what it is i truly want out of marriage. i spent two years single after my second divorce trying to figure out if it was me or them. it was me and it was her. it was both parties. it takes two for a relationship to work and two to let it crumble. my first wife i truly loved. we were young in love. she was everything. just perfect for me. but sadly we found out she couldn’t have children and never would be able to. it torn us apart. we were very young. she left me because she didn’t want me to hate her in the future and resent her because she couldn’t give me kids. at the time i told her she was wrong i begged her to stay that we’ll figure it out. but she didn’t. and my heart was torn. but now that i am older and have kids. she was right. if she didn’t leave me i would’ve left her because i wanted kids. i really did. my second wife was just narcissistic woman. and i ignored soooo many red flags. that marriage didn’t last long at all. that marriage mentally drained me however and i truly thought there was something wrong with me. and thought that way for a very long while. everything i did was never good enough for her. i left her because i just couldn’t take it anymore. i essentially ran away. moved back to where i grew up and sent divorce papers to her parents.
now my third wife we met truly by accident at a convention in dallas related to our fields. i thought she was the most beautiful woman i had ever seen in my life and i had to talk to her at her booth. talking led to playful flirting and then afterwards we exchange info and i learned she lived only one city away from me back in Canada. we started off just dating and then it slowly became a real relationship. and we fell in love with each other. about a year and half after we first met i asked her to spend the rest of her life with me. fast forward nearly 13 years later we have 4 children and i still look at her the same way i looked at her when i first met her in dallas. she is my rock. she is everything to me. and there’s not a day that goes by that i dont think about the many lessons i learned from my previous marriages and exercise good values in my third marriage. so i learned my lesson. just took many years to learn.

One of the most satisfying scenes
That alimony payment seems very high considering Alan is an unsuccessful chiropractor.
That's the joke throughout the series, up to this point, that after Charlie dates and breaks up with Alan's attorney, she screws Alan over by giving Judith their entire pension fund and almost doubling his alimony payments so he constantly finds ways to cut corners expense wise...there is an entire episode dedicated to it, where Alan becomes a human lab rat for a pharmaceutical company and is swiftly falling apart while Charlie gets his new gig as Charlie Waffles
at the start he was a very good chiropractor making good money, Charlie sleep with his lawyer and he they took all of his money and as the years go buy alan works less and less.
It got even worse for Alan when he married Kandi and then she kicked him out and for a short period of time, Alan was paying alimony to 2 women! It's never mentioned if he had to keep paying alimony to Kandi or not.
Actually it was mentioned. Judith said she talked to her lawyer, and said that even if Kandi takes him for everything he has, he still owes Judith alimony.
Actually he was successful. It was several times mentioned that association of chiropractors chose him as a chiropractor of the year.
this Alan's gonna get his new underwear😂😂😂
Yeah, I'd tell Alan, "May I suggest you get a set of multi-colored boxers or boxer briefs? Those tighty whities you always wear make you look like you're wearing a diaper!" Charlie would probably say, "A diaper would suit him better as he does have a history of wetting the bed," and Alan would yell out, "That stopped when I was a kid!"
