This whole rally was as a result of optimism that the Fed is done with hiking interest rates, btc eft and approvals. The question now is, where do we go from here? Are we seeing a cycle of long term gains until Q2 2024? let’s say I decide to throw In $50k? Good or bad timing?

Because of the immutable distributed digital ledger and the structure of these ETFs it makes it extremely difficult (not full proof) to re-hypothecate or debase. I’m not against gold but every single major empire before us has debased their gold currency. It’s just too easy to do when a centralized power can control it… they will always eventually do it. To make it faster would compromise both security and its distributed ledger. To make it faster you become the other centralized crypto networks which routinely fail, change their monetary policy, and have points of failure and seizure. Every single centralize network has been hacked.
The Bitcoin network is a protocol very similar to the base layer of the Internet on TCP/IP which was invented by ARPA (now DARPA) in 1969…to this day we still use TCP/IP as the base layer of the internet which is slow/simple/effective/efficient…but we built layers on top of it with other protocols for websites, jpeg, gifs, email such as HTTP(s), HTML, SMTP, POP and so on. New layers of protocols are built on top of the Bitcoin Network just as we’ve done with TCP/IP to improve on speed and the user experience. I hope you take some time to be open to learning about it. In the event of a catstrophic crash of the monetary system, an entire new fiat system can eventually be created again, so think how much fiat money exists, you can do that all over again. The amount of potential gold has is literally infinite because it depends how much inflation there is in fiat which appears to be limitless. People really don't understand gold at all or its history.
