Tape is another expendable you can get production to buy. If you are starting out I would suggest that you get at least a few different rolls of 1" colored tape (Red, Blue, Yellow/Green) if you can't get production to buy it for you. - Кино
Tape is such an important tool on set. Being organized and systematic is key.
The wild parrot sounds in the background add a lot of credibility to this information.
They are so loud!
Writing down stop and close focus on the tape, simple but so so effective. Thanks for this tip.
Great stuff. Love the white gaff lens case trick, thanks for sharing your tips and tricks
Love these videos! 1st AC stuff is where it really gets interesting.
i love these real life set tips so much!!
Could definitely use a video on pulling focus! Specifically, all the best practices surrounding focus marks and measurements!
I'm working on an extensive video about pulling focus.
@@FilmmakerSurvival awesome! Really glad I found this channel!
Very brilliant ideas!
Thank you! 😊
What is your standard color coordinator hierarchy? I’ve been told different things, most recently A-Red, B-Green, C-Blue, D-Yellow. Is this something that just changes with preference?
It can be a preference but generally the standard here in "Hollywood" is A-Red, B-Blue, C-Yellow, D-Green...from there you can do whatever. You can even do color combos if you need to.
Ive found that my paper tape starts to peel off the camera during the day for mag tags, is Gaffer Tape okay for this?
I wouldn't recommend using gaff tape because it can leave residue on the camera and the cards. Try to find a spot on the camera that doesn't get touched or rubbed by picking up the camera. You could also have the 2nd AC keep them on the back of the slate.
