*There will be an Extra Declutter Video on Sunday @ 3pm that was recorded prior to the challenge 😊* VIDEO DESCRIPTION ⬇️ I am a prudent minimalist attempting to live as waste free as possible. This also has the added benefit of saving money. Leading towards financial freedom. However in this video I discuss why ‘lately’ I have been buying almost nothing and intend to lead an extremely frugal lifestyle for a set time period. This could also help other people by example in how to be extremely frugal. Although, much of frugality is mindset. Lately I have been adopting a more 'typical' frugal living mindset than I have done before. I think sometimes the mindfulness & intentional living lifestyles can work quite well with and not disparate from frugality. I think its great to be frugal in most areas of life, but still allow yourself to spend on those things that are truly important to you. What brings most value to your life will be different for everyone. For example, I have a skin condition so I am willing to spend more on good skin products and makeup. I like to spend a little more on nice clothes too. It helps my mental health to wear makeup and feel nicely dressed when I go out. But in other areas of my life I am very frugal, I only live in a small apartment, I have an old non digital tv, I dont have internet at home, my phone is a cheap one, I rarely eat out.... Wheras for others there might be different areas that are really important to them, like eating out once a week with friends might mean alot to someone, while they don't care at all about clothes and makeup. I think its good to find the things in life that truly add value to you where you would like to be able to spend more on, and then be frugal about everything else.
@@SagelifeMinimalism You're welcome. You are an inspiration. I am not a minimalist but I live like one (I have a small warddrobe, use limited product, and own a bare kitchen essentials). I also live in a part of the world where it is now considered "impossibly unaffordable" to own a home. Everyone here has multiple streams of income just to live in an apartment. Hard for a family with two young children 😔. My 5yo and I dream of going to Japan one day, too. Not too sure about living there yet since I can't speak the language. But have you heard of the YT channel Chani Japan? She is an Aussie who just bought a fixer upper that is actually affordable in Japan and she shares advice and her experience.

Have you tried detoxing from deodorant completely? I switched to natural, then just lemon essential oil then to a slice of lemon and now i dont use anything just a flannel wash daily and i still have all my friends 😂 ❤
I really wish I could but to be honest natural barely works for me 😔 I have to reapply it every 2 hours. I sweat quite a lot. I’d be too worried that despite showering in the morning and bathing in the evening that there may be an odour issue? If I wore none at all. I’d have no friends 😂 you must naturally be none smelly 😂 ❤️ 🌹
My husband doesn't use deodorant anymore and noone could tell the difference. I'm not there yet, but I use a natural one and I try to use less and less.
