First time you fight this boss, you hear the opening and you think its going to be just like all the other bosses, then you hear the opening change as this song comes in and you realize that you are in for one hell of a fight...
This actually happened to me! I have a playlist of all Kirby Boss themes, and I thought I had looped the 64 boss theme, but I hadn't! So when this song came on, the intro actually made me think it was still the normal boss theme! Lol!!
Realizing that Billy Mays has been dead for over 12 years just gave me whiplash thanks to your comment. I'm not even old but that makes me feel like it..
This song actually sounds sort of like an "upside-down" version of the normal boss theme, if you can imagine it. Take the sheet music, flip it upside down, and play the notes as if they were right-side-up.
This is the pinnacle of boss music. I don't care how amazing or memorable other boss music sound. There is no way you won't get chills the second you hear that intro... Or at the very least, you know *shit is going down.*
+Rartrin I personally think this is better than the Zero two theme. Which is strange because I usually prefer the slow and dramatic second themes of kirby. But this is just too awesome.
I think 02 and Miracle Matter are equally difficult. Miracle Matter was hard because he changed forms quickly, so you had a smaller frame of time to hit him. 02 was hard because it was the first and only time you used the shooter perspective. So you have to learn and get used to the controls, while trying to kill and dodge 02's attacks. Not to mention the handling is bad.

genuinely wish there was more boss music like this, while i dig dramatic orchestral arrangements whatnot, theres something about a extremely intense and extreme song like this that utilizes these record scratches and synths, im surprised theres no amen break in here too! i feel like the only other song that has a similar energy is your best nightmare from the undertale soundtrack, but perhaps thats because i havent been looking in the right spots, easily one of my favorite boss songs of all time
I really don't know how many times I freaking lost against him .... I think even Math it self cannot reach my limit😭😭😭😭😭 But OMG.. HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO NINTENDO FOR MAKING SO MANY DAMN BOSSES☠️☠️☠️
I took Burn+Cutter into this with me. Then I got one leftover from an attack, mixed it with another, took out another 2 forms with that ability, repeat. Took longer, but it worked.
Oh, and the violin remix would be for a fight with a heavily-corrupted Gooey. The violins would represent Kirby's sorrow over being forced to fight and possibly kill one of his best friends.
I like how the last 3 bosses were actually somewhat difficult, either that or I suck 😭😭 the robot guy took me like 3 or 4 attempts, this guy like 8 and zero two like 5
I miss when Kirby music was constantly weird and crazy. They'd never put a song like this in a modern Kirby game, even if the games themselves get weird and crazy. Closest thing is probably the Highness battle from Star Allies.

First time you fight this boss, you hear the opening and you think its going to be just like all the other bosses, then you hear the opening change as this song comes in and you realize that you are in for one hell of a fight...
Probably one of the coolest fights because it uses all of the combined copy abilities’ powers against you

This is better than the normal boss music
You then proceed to keep ice cream in the back of your mind and use the fridge

Kirby final bosses get dark pretty often ha. It's kind of a recurring theme.

Man was I a dumb kid. I never knew about the true final boss nor how to get the shards I missed. This was all I remembered lol
Same. I never took the shards seriously; I thought they were just busy work and that the fake ending was sequel baiting!
Yeah you’re not alone!
@@julioramon5016 It's fair. Some of the power-combination-gates are out-of-the-way or just plain obscure.
I couldn't 100% the game without a guide.

Doesn't help that some shards are especially evil to get. Anyone else got stuck on the infamous Cutter/Stone shard on the beach level?

u notice who good the drum beat is?
My favorite part of the song without a doubt

adrenaline fueled Kirby
This theme also plays in that Return to Dreamland mini boss rush in Kirby's Dream Collection. It goes well with the difficulty.
the beginning of this song gives me goosebumps
Kirby 64 music hits for real.
I love how complex this is, there's always a ton going on and the result is appropriately imposing
0:53 just gonna say this, but i really like the background drum at this part
Hey,Mr.Delirium.Your alive!
Let's be real here, they had no business having a song this hard in the game to begin with but I love it.

This theme fits into a pokemon game, im not joking, its so pokemon like, in my opinion.

I love this false final battle theme for I danced to it :)
This has strong Metroid Prime vibes. Metroid Prime 2, to be specific. And this was a full four years before that!
Fun Fact: This theme is a mix between Meta Knight's Fight theme from Super Star and Boss theme from this game.
As a child I hated this Boss for it's gimmick, but looking back it's actually pretty brilliant.
