First time you fight this boss, you hear the opening and you think its going to be just like all the other bosses, then you hear the opening change as this song comes in and you realize that you are in for one hell of a fight...
This actually happened to me! I have a playlist of all Kirby Boss themes, and I thought I had looped the 64 boss theme, but I hadn't! So when this song came on, the intro actually made me think it was still the normal boss theme! Lol!!
Realizing that Billy Mays has been dead for over 12 years just gave me whiplash thanks to your comment. I'm not even old but that makes me feel like it..

+Rartrin I personally think this is better than the Zero two theme. Which is strange because I usually prefer the slow and dramatic second themes of kirby. But this is just too awesome.
Considering they brought back Galacta Knight and Dark Meta Knight and gave them awesomely remixed versions of their themes, I feel like Miracle Matter should come back as the hidden boss in the next Kirby game....whenever that is.
Man this boss was unfair af. Immune all the times, except when he attacks, than he is vulnerable to only one elements. Once you get used to all of his abilities it's more than doable, but i just think it defeats the main philosophy behind kirby: Choose any ability you like and beat asses with it.
This song actually sounds sort of like an "upside-down" version of the normal boss theme, if you can imagine it. Take the sheet music, flip it upside down, and play the notes as if they were right-side-up.
I think 02 and Miracle Matter are equally difficult. Miracle Matter was hard because he changed forms quickly, so you had a smaller frame of time to hit him. 02 was hard because it was the first and only time you used the shooter perspective. So you have to learn and get used to the controls, while trying to kill and dodge 02's attacks. Not to mention the handling is bad.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards in my opinion was able to capture the style they used in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Maybe that's why I loved this game as much as Kirby's Dream Land 3. :3
@09WProductions No, he's not the final boss - but if you didn't collect all of the crystal shards, he pretty much is. The game hints afterwards that you didn't see all of the story, but it still reaches an end afterwards. It's only once you get all the shards that you get to fight O2, afterall.
