I never knew they had the 3.0, I think it would be limited by the chassis anyways. The 2.7 turbo 4 cyl HO is a good engine in my opinion, I had it in a sierra 1500 pro, there was no lack of power and it could tow 10k
@@kix5457The Colorados never came with the 3.0 i6. Theoretically it could fit the new ones because they’re just straight up Silverados with a smaller chassis. But the engine bay definitely isn’t big enough for a long i6 engine that also weighs more and is generally bigger than the 6.2 v8. They had a smaller European 2.8 4 cylinder that was in a bunch of Chrysler products. It’s nothing special and was gutless and wouldn’t you know nobody bought one
@2025_Chevy_Tahoe The trail boss is being released as its own trim level later in the 2025 or early in the 2026 model year with a much better interior and a mid-gate.
Idk why Ram and GM haven’t added any lane centering function to their HD truck (not the one that ping pongs you in between the lanes. I’m talking about the one that actively drives for you on the highway). A huge miss imo. I was strongly considering getting a ZR2 2500 HD because it looks so good, but then found it lacks the technology I want. Got a Ford truck instead. Come on GM…
I know you were/are iffy on the looks but objectively, I think Chevy probably looks the best with GMC 2nd and RAM third. The aesthetics are the last reason why you should purchase a truck hence FORD going with their boxy "work truck" look and being last in image rankings.
Image rankings?? my god I’ve heard everything now..who in the hell is buying a heavy duty truck based on "image ratings" unless someone is truly trying to "compensate" for other deficiencies… My guess is Ford is trying to come up last in the "image ranking" contest because its resulted in the number one selling truck for the last 47 consecutive years.
Does it come with a 6 month supply of ed meds?
Lame
@@atg1338lmao you getting mad at every comment calling out truck guys is very telling of how true all the comments are
@JiggyTcg wtf are you even talking about son?
$80k for the privilege of blinding every other car on the road.
Guess you can't drive... buy a ridgeline
Awesome video TheTopher!
I miss the Chevy Colorado with the diesel, that was nice

What a beauty, appreciate you showing it
I want to trade my colorado zr2 for this and make it a 30year pavement princess with 37s
That’s one big truck 😮
beast
Hey topher Quick Question would You be able to review the new dodge charger thanks
How to fix the braking problems
80.000,00 $ is good price for this variant with diesel engine very smooth powerfull and economic , americans shuld openup to diesel cars more
@Newsplus4 Not true - power is king here - Americans will not settle for a weaker diesel power train.
The trail boss is only available on the LT and LTZ models.

I would like this console in a 1500…and a v8 at custom trim
If you didn’t know it shows the payload in the drivers door sticker and it does not tow 36k pounds it’s like around 18k
too many screens tbh
You can get a work truck variant with less
It can tow a lot more than "a ton" 😜

Yeah it's tough to actual drive with your eyes .
Because they both use hydraulic steering. Ford has a complex hybrid hydraulic system with electric assist than can perform active safety functions.
Wow is it too tiring for your little arms to hold the wheel
If you want your vehicle to drive for you, get an Uber
I'll leave the chevy off roading to the colorado and the 1/2 ton silverado
Yeah. These are too big for offroading. I'd actually stick with the Colorado.
@weirdshibainu Not really. If people want the most ground clearance then they would opt for an HD but for vetter manuverability a mid or full size
We need more trucks like these in Europe, even if they don't fit in our streets 😂👌
2:40 Max towing...really??
36k is insane!!
@@NawMan357 Insanely wrong. It's actually 19-20k
Here for the generic "too expensive" comments
too expensive

Way off on payload and WAY off on towing weight. All you had to do was simply look at the sticker on the door jam and it would tell you both figures.
It is not worth this money at all.
What truck is?
We need a full stock crash for anything to go back to “normal” prices
@ Stocks is a speculation and nothing have with real money.
Facts with this money we can buy better cars we can buy VW
