NW IA, beans about 10 bushel under last year. First field of corn disappointing. Turns out a foot of rain in one day then almost nothing for several months doesn't make for record crops

South central Nebraska, no rain for 50 days. Harvest 2/3 done.

West Central Ohio, soybeans first, 48 bushel average so far. Wheat going in nicely. Harvest could very well be done by Halloween this year

Drought stricken Southern Ohio beans all sprouted in the pods and now most of the elevators have stopped taking beans over 5% damage at this time! There overloaded with damaged beans!

WC Iowa beans are for the most part all out. Most are doing corn, and most of that is dry corn out of the field. Rain is almost unknown in these parts since July.
Sold the last of the 2024 beans yesterday and quite a bit of corn as well, maybe 40%. I don't see much on the horizon to suggest it will pay to store beans or corn.

Southeast Michigan. I don't grow beans anymore because of deer. Some of my neighbors say beans are small. I see the same with my corn. Had good pollination but small ears and kennel size. Farmers on heavier ground will have a better crop. One hay grower in my area put a new seeding in this fall. The field barely has a tint of green. Not a good place to be in October. Poor pasture regrowth so I'll have to start putting hay out for the ewes probably by the end of November. I can usually graze until the snow is too deep.

Good morning! Are you harvesting soybeans before corn this year?

I’m seeding winter wheat in north central KS. It is horribly dry and what is seeded after soybeans will not germinate until we have a reasonable amount of rain. I leave already reduced my acreage because of how low new crop contract is compared to expected break even,

Joe, we started watching right as you were approaching 4k subs. We literally listen every morning. “Good morning everybody…”
The contributions of MacKenzie, Brian, Matt and others on the broadcast are outstanding and we became a premium subscriber to support what you do “publicly”, not truly appreciating the value of the premium content.
This year we finally became a premium subscriber. Should have done it sooner. The midday updates, the additional videos & charts (that cover all the data we could ask for) have been incredible. The in-depth conversations on crop insurance, 45z, drones, tariffs & trade writ-large are not found anywhere else.
While you have not asked for a testimonial, I want to recommend to those who can swing the $50/month to consider doing so. It has way more value than NFL Sunday Ticket or any number of things that can draw $100/month on streaming services.
Thanks for the continued quality and keep on trucking.

Hi, would you add a "Education" section in your website? Like books and recommendations for those that would love to learn more (things like Mastering the grain markets, Merchants of Grain, ecc...).
    It would be incredibly appreciated
