Loved the tour of the auto shop!! We just finished a total restoration on my ‘53 Chevy pickup. It turned out fantastic. We also restored a ‘66 Chevelle SS that’s my husbands. Obviously we’re Chevy fans too. Can’t wait to see your truck done.

I'm so glad Leeske and Kora were not hurt by the wild hogs. It was so cute to call Kora softly, to give her some lovings without Leeske hearing, but I liked that Leeske also later got some lovings. They are great LGDs! It was so good to see Smeegle, too! I love that cat!

We use Reveal Tactacam cameras also. They are the best. We have 2 within about 225-250 feet of our house because we were seeing deer moving towards the house. We had no idea the wildlife traffic we had coming into our yard. We have multiple deer, 1 sometimes 2 foxes, raccoons and the occasional possum.

: Seeing that 1969 Chevelle in your buddies garage sure brings back memories. Back in the day I had SS with a L78 , Muncie 4 spd with a Hurst shifter , 12 bolt limited slip , disc up front , handling package, guage package which included the miniature tack that was useless. anytime you mashed the gas .
Wow, he takes it down to the bare bones, doesn't he? That is awesome. When you get that truck back it will be the same as brand new. Just awesome!! Kevin you are going to be the talk of the town with this thing. I so can't wait to see the end product. He does a fantastic job. A person truly has to be dedicated to this kind of work in order to deal with all those teeny tiny parts.

Good Hunting, Kevin! I hope you get a couple of those darn hogs and a great big Buck as well! You should try cooking a hog if you get one - Daniel Arms did it a couple of years ago. You can ask him how he cooked the different parts. It wasn’t as yummy as a normal pig but it was pretty edible - Houston even ate some without making faces and he was pretty young at the time.
The truck is going to look nice. Can't wait to see it and I know you're ready too! I used to manage a Vintage Air account when I worked for a specific OEM manufacturer, and MEI/Omega/Ranshu. It's always cool seeing their boxes in videos. 😁

Thank the Lord that your pups are safe. I'm always concerned about our lgd who is just a year old getting injured by predator, coyotes and bobcats are our biggest threat. Havent seen any wild hogs thankfully. We are just outside of Chandler area.
You need period correct wheels real wide for all the traction on the truck
Like the truck mine is a 79 I need a carburetor and then then the new transmission put in it well rebuilt original transmission. It has no rust on it except the floor pan on the driver side can’t wait to get it on the road

I am impressed with your friends auto shop. He has more room than I have seen in some larger auto shops. A complete overhaul. I knew that you would have to get a truck of some nature. They are the most useful motor vehicle to have.

I love Branson. I'm from SE Missouri, and we went there often. The dueling piano bar was a blast. I also love their airport with the Bass Pro Shop and the BbQ restaurant. I'm glad you got to go.

Hi Kevin! First time commenter here. You should call Daniel Arms and ask him who he uses with the big traps to catch wild hogs. They will bring the traps, set them up and they will come pick up the hogs and get rid of them for you. That might be a good option for you. Best of luck!

When you borrow Daniel Arms pig trap make sure you've been baiting them in successfully for a few days straight. Set it up, catch what you can and then return it. Don't keep it for months and not use it like Dutch! Ha Ha Ha.

I love my Chevy 4 by fours I when I totally redid was in 1977 Chevy I used to 1986 diesel cab roll over cut the roof off put in 1973 roof on it on it got a real nice 1973 box no rust it had a motor out of a trans M3O5 Chevy I changed it over to a 4 speed manual transmission love my standard trucks it would never go back to an automatic loves my dual tanks because I did a lot of hunting trips to rebuilt it in 19 96 or 1997 I rebuilt mine and I got Tendocitus in both arms from pulling wrenches mechanic couldn't shift the standard anymore irritated my arm so I sold it biggest mistake ever did she had never gotten rid of it

Do you think those hogs might want to get to your pond? I can't understand why they would try to get on your farm unless they know you might have feed somewhere with chickens around? Pigs are pretty smart. Maybe associated the birds with feed. Or maybe they are after eggs? Good luck on the hunt!

You may want to look into using a hog trap like Daniel from Arms Family to catch those hogs.
Question, Just curious why did you stop feeding the goats in the food troughs? Is it because you have very few as compared to before you sold many of them. My favorite car when I was a teenager was and still is a black 1969 Chevy Nova SS with the 396ci 4 barrel carburetors stick shift posi traction. Your truck is going to be and look awesome. I'm glad it's a Chevy. 😊
