Hey Kevin ? Keep in mind that as Cora’s pregnancy goes on , most likely she’s going to start making a den. Probably after a month or so. The mom dog will spend a lot of time in that den making it bigger and cozier for their liking. Till the day those baby dogs get born . Good luck

If she's pregnant, you should supplement her meals with some cottage cheese for calcium. She'll also need extra feedings soon too. They suggest an extra serving of food plus calcium, so a half cup of cottage cheese added. Check with your vet because she's such a large breed

You’ll want to have a pen made up for her long before she whelps. When you know she’s getting close to whelping it might be wise to lock her up in that area, as well as separated from everyone else. If you don’t she may try to find a spot that you may not be able to access.

So glad you found Cora.Years ago we lost our first Chow - Samantha for 3 days in our area where we live. She roamed around a 2-3 miles radius & we finally found at a near by neighborhood! We didn’t sleep for 3 days! Terrible feeling. She was our first fur baby together as a couple. Know how upsetting that can be 😢
Dogs are in heat for 3 weeks and they carry puppies for 9 weeks.
She will become more interested in trying to "nest" the closer it gets to delivering.

It was weird my poodle always got sick after breeding almost like morning sickness. We always knew it "took" when she would get sick on her little tummy, if she didn't, it didn't "take"
Some female dogs will try to hide their litter so the closer it gets you may want to put her in her pen your having set up for her. Best of luck and prayers she and the pups will be healthy.

Kora, Leeske, Mojo, Skeeter--LOVE, LOVE THEM PUPPERS! Smeegle, Gracie are another blessing. Very true when your dogs are missing, it is a huge heartbreak and goes into a panic mode. The girls-Etta and Cocoa are wonderful. Okay, it is true, I love all the critters.

Sometimes the big dogs have 10 pups their first litter, I know because I had a Labrador and I have a Bull Mastiff mix with St Bernard. Both had 10 the first time! So be prepared y’all! Lots of prayers for y’all! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤

Hi Hidden Heights Family, As Kora is in pup, she may be looking for a secure place to have her babies , so she may have found somewhere to have them , that's quite and away from the goats , I would go and have a look around in those trees that are in the paddock and see if she has dug an underground den, so it's worth a look to be sure, love watching your vids, it's getting me through some real tuff times , so thank you for that, you all stay safe and keep warm x
Smeagle is so funny! He does what my late cat, Sally, used to do. Right before he's about to pounce on something, he wiggles his little butt! ❤

I can’t see Cora staying in the locked area at night. She is a LSG dog, and she would go crazy not being able to protect her goats.

A larger donkey is a mule & a 1/2 horse & 1/2 mule is a jack ass. Their nose is called a muzzle. Their muzzle is so soft! The herd guard dogs are so docile it is amazing the energy can protect their herds with. The donkeys have huge stomachs. They can founder the same as a horse can't they? It's a sad, sad thing when an animal founders & it is for the rest of their life. How would another member of the donkey family increase the value of your farm? Maybe another animal to love.
Leeski is very jealous but soon he's gonna grow in mind when those small puppies come along, not at first but soon.... It's gonna be pretty cool

Kevin, keep a close eye on the dogs especially Skeeter since he goes to the groomer from time to time there is a really bad virus going around. It minics kennel cough but has a wet cough and extreme high death toll there isn't a treatment for it at this time! The dogs do not have to be exposed to others since it's viral it's just air born! Pray it doesn’t affect our loved fur babies!

Remember the last time when you were looking for them they were hiding under the kids treehouse. Linkey looks like he is very jealous of you spending any time at all with Cora. Count how many niples she has that gives you a better idea how many puppies she can have.

Kevin, It is a very scary feeling to not be able to find one’s dog. I am so thankful that Kora showed up safe and sound. I think she will have six puppies. It will be interesting to see what Kora and Leeske’s puppies look like as far as coloring and hair length.
All of the animals look happy and healthy. It was good to see the elusive Gracie cat. It was also funny watching Smeegle cat get playful and romp around at the end of the video.

I watch another channel where they have 2 emus about the same age as your emus. The rancher, Mike, made an emu feeder from a large kitty litter container. Mike’s channel is called Our Wyoming Life. You should check it out. Mike has sheep, alpacas, mini donkeys, chickens, turkeys, a peacock and GOATS to go along with his beef cattle.
We had that panick moment when our Great Pyrenees mix was outside the fenced area of our property when we returned home from town. As far as we knew she hadn't jumped the fence before. Mad a few modifications to the fence with more coming.
Yeah I have one too and he loves to explore. I had to fix my fencing to prevent him from getting out.
You should grab your e-bike next time and go around the fence line or do you need an electric mountain bike to do that? My son bought an electric mountain bike and can go up and down mountainous terrain!!! Or the gps tracker might be worth a try again. My son programs phones and trackers for dogs and they have made some improvements on them. Then maybe you wouldn’t have to worry about them so much.

I had to laugh when you were trying to get the dogs to pose on top of the hay and Leeske started kicking, then he posed himself flat on his back and left nothing to the imagination while you were having a serious conversation the whole time. 😆 Then he gave Kora a kick later in the video when she wanted some attention from you, as if to say, "I give you enough attention, go keep an eye on the goats while I comfort Dad for the scare you gave him when he thought something bad happened to you." I think you do have a Ninja Dog on your hands, the Coyotes better watch out. The Donkeys are so cute and have adjusted to the Farm so well. The Geese and Emus are so beautiful. Do you give the dogs flea, tick tablets? I noticed the dogs scratching with there rear legs behind their ears
Since Kora is expecting puppies. You need to asked the vet, if it is safe these tablets.

Make sure she's on puppy food feed at least 2xs a day they may not eat always morning sickness or small room. I always add a vitamin from the vet. Half can a day of soft food and cut up beef liver for iron
Dogs like humans vary in how "big" they get when pregnant. Kora is an active in shape female, so she probably won't get as big as a "couch dog" that gets little exercise. I can understand being worried about Kora because they are usually both right there waiting

She's probably starting to scout for a place to nest. It might be a good idea to provide her with a place NOW so she can get used to it. It would be hard to have her choose her own space cause you might not be able to find her with the puppies.

Sean from Keeping it Dutch has a portable sawmil that makes boards out of trees. He may be able to make boards you need. Something to think about. It'll at least cut prices for lumber.
