The guy that was helping down at the creek with the black T-shirt went over and beyond climbing right into that creek ,what a great worker he is worth his weight in gold !! Glad to see you moved Koras feeding she wants to be with Leeske and share food ! Goat face is such a cutie ,the other lil goat was wanted some petting too! Kora is a smart puppy...looking less puppyish every day...but she needs to learn the boundaries of guardianship. She'll figure it out.
Leeske Kora and Mo are amazing! They have all saved the day for your livestock! God has given you the best in LGD in my humble opinion.

You could put a wood crate platform in Cora's feeding pen. That way when the dogs go in there to get under shelter they will be off the wet ground as well as have a roof overhead.

Kora has to learn to not play too rough with the babies. I think if the Mama was to rough with Kora that Leeske would step up for Kora. The cleanup at the creek seems to went good. Glad the emus are doing good. Take care and stay safe out there. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
The dogs are amazing. The goat mamas are training Kora and Leske isn't also attacking her, which means he accepts her and knows she's not a threat.
It's all going as it should.

The creek is so pretty. Keeping it cleaned up after a storm is a lot of work, but the end result is worth it. And it's good the you have momma goats that will teach Kora gently to be respectful of the babies. 💖💖💖

I thought it looked the other day like Kora is getting heavier and it has harder for her to squeeze between the bars to go inside and eat. That might be one of the reasons she don't like getting inside to eat by herself. She might be afraid of eating too much and get stuck inside?

When we had big dogs - they ‘fasted’ a lot during the summer. They nibbled but didn’t eat whole regular meals very often. It was just too hot.
It’s kind of exciting to see what new genetics you bring in. I’m wondering, too, if your wee moon pattern doe will pass on her gorgeous coloring and pattern!

Make sure you are providing a little grit for the Emus to help them digest.
The emus need little stones like chicken do.
Depends on what they are fed. No need for grit if fed a pelleted diet, and adults generally get enough sand/grit eating off the ground. To much grit or pebbles causes impaction
Wish I could be there with you on the creek. My dad and I used to trout line across the lower rapids to catch catfish. Once caught 57 in two days. We would run it and bait it in the evening before Dad went to work 3rd shift at Boeing. Then we would do it again when he got home in the morning. I was probably 12 and am now 76. Been awhile, but I remember. Good times.

My grandparents had 17 summer clubhouses along the Bourboise River in Missouri. Flooded almost every year. Over the years they lost 14 of the 17 clubs to the river. One year the river moved one of the clubs, one of the posts went through the floor and under the stove pushing it up to the roof. Anothe year the river took out the bank, moved an entire club on stilts and three 30 foot trees into the middle of the river. Next years flood took it down the river. Water is so powerful! Being from St. Louis originally, I grew up with flooding and what it can do.

Great video. Little bit of this, little bit of that😊 Kora is growing fast & the emus too. Male emus tends to be a bit smaller than the females & usually more docile. GhostFace looks good, can’t even notice a limp. Little Pumpkin is stunning. That grapple for the Kubota is such a useful addition to the farm. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰

For years I would visit my sister near Beggs, I remember crossing over the state line "Welcome to Green Country" I always thought what? To be fair, it would be late summer or winter. Mama goat is hurting little Kora's feelings. With the extreme cost of feed for animals, GOD bless from selling off some of the goats. When life returns to even a bigger Christian nation (America is actually seeing a beautiful revival!), you can always raise more goats if you choose. Great job in the cleanup. Those emu's are getting so huge.
