Low INT, high WIS
Jason is one of the best characters out of the main cast. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he has a pure heart and is a ride-or-die kind of guy.
Literally on that last one
He's definitely the funniest. I think he's the most consistently funny character in any TV show I've seen, honestly. His delivery and body language is so on-point, every single time. His dialogue is also consistent in style enough that when he begins saying something you can see where it's headed, but chaotic enough that you never know exactly where it's going to end up, so there's always anticipation of a good punch line at the beginning of a joke, while still keeping it a surprise. Like, I don't think it's in this video, but I was rewatching the series today, and there was this one line in season 2 where tells this increasingly crazy story about how his mom was a manager at a pet store, and he ends it by saying "Long story short, it was all a dream." Just, something about the fact that this already nonsensical story turned out to just be a dream and he _still_ thought it was relevant to the situation had me in stitches
The way I would describe his character is "no thoughts, vibes only"
The fact Jason actually figured it out first saying if the good place was all a prank show just cracks me up, but definitely even more when he realizes it during Michael's reboots lol

I feel like it's super fitting that Jason was the first to leave. He went through so much development, and it was the right time. He's such an amazing character
Technically, Chidi left first, since Jason wanted to wait for Janet to come back. And even more technically, Tahani left first since she went on to train to be an architect.

What's crazy about that line is that it's in reference to Jason's plan of catching a magic panda to use its powers - BUT THE PANDA ACTUALLY EXISTS. There IS a magically teleporting panda in the background of several episodes that no one acknowledges except for Jason in this one throw away gag

I rewatched the show, and realized that Jason contributed to several important revelations and important plot points in the show, so he is actually kind of wise. I would love to see a video with this moments, (with every moment followed by one of Jason being reeeeeal dumb, high wisdom but low intelligence lol) but don’t think I could without getting taken down lol

He’s the most adorable human I’ve ever seen on this planet.
When this show first came out, I was pretty annoyed at the stereotypical "asian guy dumb guy character" ( either that or we are fetishized) but then as the show goes on you realize he actually supported the group a lot and had many revelations that helped them move forward. Not to mention a lot of characters development. He became one of my favorites. 😁

I think Jason just acts stupid. First day, he calls out the fact that their not in the good place. At the end of season 1 he perfectly explains concicuentialism and to top it off at the beginning of season 2, he knows exactly what to do to make his partners bike not work AND hands the piece needed to an unknown third party to have it truly get lost. The real icing on the cake is when you put it all together realizing he's acting stupid to gain an upper hand
