Yes, he gets plenty of attention in many performances (he’s John’s bias btw) and they all have their moments where their voices briefly crack or become unstable - Jin’s too. In fact, he was off-key a couple of times in the first live performance, so was JK and jimin started off sharp; they all recovered quickly because they’re pros. But when you’re performing nightly at their calibre, it’s bound to happen; so it’s not something to make a big deal about. I really hate that whole ‘under dog’ argument. It doesn’t serve the member well at all and it’s not a good Army attitude either.
I hear what you're saying! Jin has my fav voice. He can belt out a song. The others can't. And the emotions he expresses is The Best!

Yes John, you've said this before and I've always felt the same way - Jin's voice is REALLY well suited for Japanese. I dont know why but his voice is my absolute favorite in almost all of their Japanese songs!!
'Boracity Magazine ' channel just put out a great essay on Jin's voice .And she explains why his voice is so well suited for Japanese songs.

What a beautiful song this is... I always read in the comments that Jin and Tae's voices sound very good in Japanese and I think they're right... they sound wonderful... that without detracting from Jm and Jk (Jk's voice It's always my favourite. Let's add to this the incredible performance and choreography of the song (how can I forget the iconic image of Tae... the cameraman took great care👏👏)
This song is from 2018 and although it was not written by the boys, it is thought that it was a kind of farewell for ARMY... it was just the year they thought about separating and it is very representative of that situation... "the red thread that got too tangled...". Thanks to "Outro Tear" written by Suga, the red thread was not cut and could be unraveled...

Jin stood out to me the most in every live performances. His vocals are so stable. No shaking or shivering vocals, his breathing style...oh god that's the one thing that I love with the most. Pitch, perfect vocal switchings, the emotion that he gives to each songs ...... Mahnnn everything about to him is perfect 💝 He easily converted me from ot7 to seokjinniee. No regrets 😉
Sorry, but like every member does periodically, he had a couple of ‘off’ moments in the first live, as did JK and JM, who started off sharp. Truthfully, V was the only one whose voice was ‘clean’ (and he’s not my bias)
@VENGENZ as a vocal student his vocal technics are perfect to me. First of all his vocal switches is hard to do. If I try my voice will go crack. And the next thing is his breathing style. It is hard to identify whether he takes a breath in between the words while he singing. That is every singer's wish having an amazing breathing control while singing. Third one is, he can belt with full chest voice. Isn't that impressive??? One of the best example is this line "We don't need to worry" from PTD... He never miss to impress me. There is many mahnn...
Every person has their favourites right?? To me it's him and JK. Both are incredible vocalists. Jin became my bias because I totally loves his voice. I'm following his vocal technics because it's impressive.
I'm not telling that the other vocalists are not good. They all are awesome singers. As a person as a human being I also have my favourite. That's all. It has been almost 5 years since I started following them. In a short period of time I can tell what is BTS, what's their strength, what's their perfections, imperfections and how they are meant to me. I don't want anyone to be perfect.

As someone who come to their early and latest concert. I know he is getting better but not that stood out and stable
@@whisperuasong406 I haven't get a chance to attend their concerts. But my friends in other countries shared their experiences from the concerts and all were amazed by his vocals. One of them is now a Jin stan after attending the recent concert.
Not only he improved a lot but also he stood out every show. Why everyone is getting upset... I can't understand... isn't his vocals amazing??? Is I'm the only person is feeling this way..!!??!?!!! There is a lot of performances that he went viral for his vocals including the Grammys. If Jin was an average vocalist or a slightly improved vocalist in the interim, he would never have been went viral or never have been recognised by locals. Still I know his Fake luv era. I was like 'wohh'... That was the time I started to stanning him. He is such an amazing vocalist.
The Japanese songs suit Jin and Hobi so well. They all do such an amazing job with this song and the choreo. This is beautiful, and so sad. (And yet the live performance is sexy as hell. Go figure.)

This is the song where Jin really shines. I love this song. I remember, when we heard that they thought about dis-banding, we thought that this song was their goodbye to us and it broke our hearts. Now I can't hear this song without thinking about that and it always brings tears to my eyes.

After my daughter brought BTS into my life, as she was a Senior in High School about to graduate, Let Go was the song that I most identified with. Let Go spoke to me about my husband and I letting our daughter go....out into this Big World, letting her go to college and start her life! This helped me cry, sob, process this beautiful young lady from her birth to being a young woman going out to live her life, mostly independent of her Dad and I 😊💜🙏 I can now listen to it with even more love, without breaking down into tears, and with full appreciation for BTS being there for me/us as we learned to Let Go 💜🙏

jimin is so beautiful in his movements here... mylord... they all are but i understand being mesmerized by jimin. also, jin's voice live is always so magnificent. i'll never forget seeing them in concert and just being so blown away by their voices yet jin's voice... OMG and their stage presence tbh the rapline's energy on stage... no words... then we have jungkook who's voice is always around and that's just inexplicable to me! that man's voice is a constant and it never waivers like HOW?! and v's insane talent to draw you in with his expressions and gestures on stage...

A bit of misinformation there.Only Outro Tear was written about the disbandment. Let Go was a rumor made up from assumption. Tear was the only confirmed song that was about their discussions on disbandment. Just thought I’d clarify just incase, not sure if you were connecting Let Go w/being about their disbandment or it just being a coincidence that it was released during the same album series as Tear
Thank you for clarifying that, I thought this was also written as a goodbye song to the fans, was wondering why they would only have done that for their Japanese fan base instead of all fan bases, or at least their Korean fans. Now it makes sense, but I can see why people thought it was written as a goodbye song. It’s one of my many favorites, although that’s hard to say since I have not heard one song by them that isn’t good, this is why my darn playlist is so long, can let it play for days and never hear the same song twice, well unless like now streaming for MAMA
@@Kookietaetan I think you meant your comment to me, but yeah my rule of thumb is that if you can’t find a source of a member saying it then it’s probably a rumor and you should take the information w/a grain of salt. Outro Tear was confirmed by Suga on either Bring the Soul or Break the Silence. And also with Let Go, it wasn’t even written by the members so something so person like that wouldn’t have been written by other people anyway. But yeah I get why, with the lyrics in mind, people would think that

I remember the first time I heard this, all of a sudden I was understanding words. I was like wtf that's Japanese! Jin is amazing. They all are.
While it is easy to look to the vocal line for the harmonies, that is our man Hobi providing the harmony for Jin. While all of the members contribute to the backing vocals, Jk does most of the harmonies and vocal stacking in their songs. Hobi, however, is next in line. You would be surprised at how much backing vocals are actually JHope.
PS the reason that the Suga part had a JHope sound was because it was J Hope. JHope did the doubling on Suga's rap. The rap line often uses each other to double their parts instead of stacking the vocals themselves.
V's Sweet Night and Winter bear are awesome if you want just V and an instrument (or two/three)... The seamlessmess of the lyrics, the flow, and the meaning of the song, as well as the adjustments in language that were made to make it happen, are all proof of the lyrical genius of their producers, most especially Kim Namjoon.

I love all their voices in this, especially the vocal line. I'd be thinking, "Wow, Jin's voice is so delicate in this" and then V comes in and I think, "His husky voice sounds incredible" and then Jimin comes in and I think "His voice is so powerful and clear here" and then JK comes in and I think "His voice is so beautiful and smooth" and so on and so on throughout the song. They keep surprising me because each of their voices is so beautiful and yet also so distinct from each other that when they switch to another member, it's always unexpected.

This and Ephinany were on repeat for me for literally weeks when my abusive marriage ended a few years ago. Such a mix of emotions trying to let go of the bad but grieving over the loss and these two songs just summed up everything at the time. Both so beautiful, so deep, so real, so healing.
Hobi is the low in the back vocal on the majority part of Let go. His voice is so beautiful, I love when Hobi is the back vocals of the songs.
This song will forever tie in with Don't Leave Me. They have such a similar feel and flavor.

Go be fair for this song to be a success as it is then and now are due to the blending of 7 unique individual members. Without the other one adding to the tone or layers or melodies to ALL THEIR GROUP SONGS, there is no BTS. Their solo careers will allow us to appreciate their differences. Love them all as BTS on stage. They truly complement each other.

"Let Go" is one of those songs where the choreo makes all the difference. Yes, the vocals are beautiful, but it's the hold-your-breath ballet that casts a spell. Gorgeous!
A song by V with a piano: "Scenery", as well as his cover of "Hug Me" (with J-hope) and Adele's "Someone Like You".
My fav Japanese song. V stood out to me.
Hobi is doing the harmonies with Jin. He's a sub-vocalist and backs up the vocal line on a ton of their songs. You'll see him credited in the "vocal gang" parts even in vocal line solos like Filter. He's got a beautiful voice that pairs really well with the higher tones of the vocal line. So it's easy to go straight to vocalists but there's always a strong probability that it's j-hope.
I think it's really impressive that they did such a heavy choreography for a vocal song like this. And they purposely had the person who was singing stand in the middle while everyone else danced. They do that in other songs. But the whole choreography was built around it for Let Go.

This is my fav Japanese Song.... HANDS DOWN!!!!! LOVE this song soooooo much! Was going through a difficult time with my husband in 2018-2019, and we separated for about 6 months, this song resonated with me the most and really helped me through a really tough time in my life! It'll ALWAYS have a special place in my heart!
Side Note : There's just something about Jin's voice and how powerful he shines in ALL their Japanese Songs! His voice was made for ballads!

For me, Jin and JK stood out with their power vocals. In the 1st live, Jimin was quite off since he was quite sick but did good in his succeeding parts. Also love V's deep voice. Rap parts in this song were also my fave.

Even though they're in the same outfits in the 2nd live (the stage mix) it's a different performance. You can tell by the hair if nothing else. Jin in particular has a different hairstyle. Love this song 🎵 💜
This song is my favorite just because it just hits me personally more. I had a very difficult relationship a very complex relation with my twin up until he passed in 2015. It got to the point I could no longer help him so I told him I loved him but its time he has to do things on his own but im still love him but I have to let him go for now. We were estranged at the time of his death so the anger I had at him, myself ,even my family who encouraged me to distance myself from him ( which was the right thing to do in the end) was very strong. It took my a couple of years and being in a downward spiral myself to forgive him, my family and most of all myself. I am now back and healthy mentally , of course I still have my days but as far as my brother is concerned im in a good place. I ended up with his ashes and for a long time I said ill never let you go again but after hearing this song I think im now ready to let go and let him fly , he deserves to be let free. I just had to be ready. So eventually will find a place he loved the most that he was happy there amongst even his hard stages of his life and scatter his ashes. Its time I think . Anyway this is why its my favorite and most powerful even emotional song for me but it help me in so many ways. Im very sorry for the long ramble this as you can see brings a lot out of me. Also the stage mix you watch for some reason was a bit different then the one I watched similar but a bit different. I too wanted to find the performance where they were in all black and I couldn't find it, most people when watching the stage mix ask the same thing. Lastly they all killed their parts but to me Jimin and Jin stand out, but V and Jk nailed their parts as well.

@@ChelebelleOT7 i searched but the only ones coming up are fan cams which are not that great very wobbly or not that clear or fan cams with just one member focus which I dont like because it takes away from the whole performance. Oh nooooooo alkdjlakjsd Let Go always makes me cry. The song is sad in and by itself, but when you take the date of release of the song and all that had been happening with BTS during 2018, the song takes a whole other meaning.
When it was Jin's turn to give his speech when they won the 2018 MAMA Album of the Year daesang, he said that they were mentally having a really hard time earlier that year and that they even considered disbanding. I think that "Let Go" references these feelings. My eyes are numb just thinking about it. I can write a novel about ut but I will just leave you with this. It very truthfully and beautifully talks about the hard truth that ARMYs do not ever want to think or speak about. It starts ‘Sayonara no mae ni Let go’ ‘Before the farewell, Let go’ and ends with ‘I’m ready to let go’. The lyrics reference their feelings about being ready to say goodbye, even when it's hard... they can't run away anymore.
Seasons change, time flies. All good things come to end one day. That’s the rule of life. ARMY’s journey with BTS, BTS’s journey with BTS, this beautiful journey that the seven hearts are bound in, millions are a part of, this ever beautiful story will come to end someday and I wish it never does. But it will, someday. Hopefully in a very far future. but, in the end, all that will stay are the memories we made and the love we share, which we will always cherish, not matter what. When it’s time, it’ll be difficult, we‘ll be heartbroken, but ready to go on and ready to meet again someday, somewhere, somehow and smile!
ARMY knows how lucky we are to have experienced this and every song and moment.
Though a lot of ARMY say this was supposed to be "their last song", I don't think that's factual. But, rather, they were expressing their feelings. They thought that might be their last year together.
None of the guys had a hand in writing this song though.
We should know them enough to know when/if they ever put out a farewell song for ARMY, they will write it and it'll be in their native tongue. 💜

Jin plays a little piano for his Epiphany performances. Suga plays some at the beginning of their MNet Countdown performance of "Yet To Come". There is also a clip of him playing a beautiful snippet of "I Need U". I think there was another one where they were just being goofy on stage. I'm not sure there is anything aside from that. Jin also plays guitar for an acoustic version of "Danger".

This song….it gets me every time. Everything about it is insane. They are such great story tellers in their choreography and this one just pulls at the heart. And I have said this since the beginning, their recordings pale in comparison to their live performances. And their recordings are outa control so that means the live performances are…well…no words. When you think of when they all started and how much work they put in their choreography and singing, seeing them perform is so beautiful like all they're doing is second nature to them.
Most of the background harmonies or backing track are done by JHOPE or JK we sometimes call hidden melodies. JHOPE as we know has aspirations of being a singer and has some great lower registers and pitch, besides V...Jhope has done many hidden harmonies in BTS songs since the beginning that are so underrated but definitely worth looking into. There are some videos that actually collate Jhope's vocal tracks on different BTS songs. Could be lots of fun to watch and react to one day. Cheers!

I always smile a little when someone’s off, like jimin for that first second…it’s so rare, and usually only like one note but it just shows that they are real, and are really singing. It just feels raw to me. Given how much they are moving, and how rare it is they are always so impressive. I know he probably beat himself up a lot for that second but personally I love him more for it. Hope that makes sense. 💜💜💜💜
I'm totally agree with you and understand what you mean! 💜 🎶 They are always so perfectly beautiful and so"safe"in what they're doing (sorry, English isn't my main language) some say Jimin was sick that day, personally, I think his mic was delayed for a second or whatever!.. Cos for me, it doesn't matter! I don't care about the reason, cos they are always perfect and the sad thing is that I know Jimin really "beats himself up" and struggle a long time if he do something that he sees as wrong😢💜... But for me it just shows that they are humans and their staff are humans and I love them even more if possible 💜💜🥰🌌♾️... They work so hard, I've seen Jimins dance rehearsals to his last soloprosjekts, and its"go one more time, one more time, try again... and so... Even if it looks 👌 I'm 54 years young 😅and the love and respect I feel for this 7 men is.. BIG!!! 💜 💜 ✨ they have no idea who I am, but I love them, respect them, I'm worried about them and they have saved me and dragged me out of a severe depression after covid!! 💜.... So thank you @johnreaveslive for everything you do and it's nice to have someone, especially with ADHD, to love BTS with 💜♾️

Hey John thank you for your reaction. And I agree w/you how they use language and are able to rhyme an English word or phrases w/Korean or in this case Japanese, it’s so cool. I also hope you continue to listen to the rest of their Japanese songs, they have more in their older albums that just pure gems
