Even though an actual cactus was the inspiration for the song, I think Cactus really works well as a metaphor that many people can relate to (and I think that was Jihyo's intention). It's about the pain of being left behind. To see the ones you love move on and out of your life... It feels like a slow death. The song hits me in the feels.
