I have a ‘22 OP4 without the annex. Inflation time is right around 2 minutes. With my wife taking one end and I on the other, from the first clamp being unbuckled to fully inflated is roughly 5 minutes. Hoping to get the Air Canopy at some point. We love our OP4.
The OP4 is great and one of the best purchases we have made to accommodate our outdoor lifestyle. Even though the annex or any attachments do add on some time for setup, it's not too bad and definitely worth it for all the extra space it provides after it's been set up. You will love having the air canopy, I'm sure!
Would you buy the opus op4 again ? If you pull up to a site for the night and dont want to use the annex or there is no space, is possible to not use it ?
Hi, thank you for this video. Very helpful. We have a similar model. I noticed, you don’t have a rack. It never occurred to us that we could leave the annex on. Do you have trouble closing the opus with all the extra material in it?
You are so very welcome! We truly enjoy making these videos! You are correct, we do not have a rack for our OP4, but we intend on purchasing one when they become available. We don't have any trouble closing the Opus with the Annex, you just need to be a little more methodical on how you place your canvas. The only issue is inflating. You will have to physically help the Annex and main tent with your hands to fully inflate. Thank you for the comment! Let us know if you have any other questions!
We have the annex but we usually detach it from the trailer. It’s a whole lot of more work to attach and detach the annex every time. I guess it never crossed our minds because we keep other things in the trailer. There is probably not enough space for the tent. We are going on a trip tomorrow. This time I will try to keep the annex on.
The annex on the Opus can be fully enclosed including the floor. We just didn't show that on this vid! We have had it out in heavy rain and not a single leak to be found!
You two are awesome and a beautiful family… But as for the Air Opus NOT… Much rather have an Aliner…Or just a trailer…You have dry conditions but a wet day / wet ground or rain OUCH! …
Thank you so much for watching, for commenting, and for your kind words! We should've shown the annex a little more and talked about the material of the Opus tent portion. It's actually waterproof, and the annex is fully enclosed with a floor that attaches to the walls of the annex and the tent too. We slept in it in pretty wet conditions, and there was no leaking at all! I will say, if you purchase a new Opus (we bought used) that the canvas material does have to go through a weathering process and may leak the first couple of times. We plan to put up a video of our likes and dislikes soon and talk more about what the Opus offers to hopefully clear up and questions people were left with after watching.
This is the first of your videos that I’ve ever watched, I’ve gotten 48 seconds in, and feel the need to ask you if you have found a way to record yourself without the image being reversed.
Yes, we have! This was one of our first videos, and we had a LOT to learn, lol. We still shoot some scenes in "selfie" but not the whole video! Check out some of our other videos. Criticism is always welcome!
I love Opus campers, especially the OP4! Thanks for the set up vid!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Sweet unit! Love the run thru!
Thanks!

Well let's be glad it's not raining

I was referring to the set up time seems to take a while
@dustinmittel348 this is true. If it's raining while setting up, you are going to get wet. Pros and Cons with everything!
