    So glad I found this video. It helped me answer a question I had about how to run my iPad through the mixer. I use a Traktor S2 and a MacBook Pro to DJ weddings. I now have a need to connect my iPad as well and this video was very helpful.
    Thank you very much! This video was great and I really appreciate it.

    Great video setup…. 2 questions: 1. Can this same setup work on an iPad? 2. I am having noise issues when using the usb connection from to iPad to the mixer… any help would be super helpful.. cheers

    Hi. Great video. Ive read through the manual and it appears that this mixer only sends a single stereo signal via USB (rather than each track indivdually). Is this the case? If not, how do you record tracks simultaneously and individually via USB?

    [Just in case you are still checking] I was trying to get mixer audio to appear in the input of the laptop but as log as the USB/2-Track buttons were engaged to mix was getting returned to the USB port (back to the laptop). So by turning both the buttons off at ruclips.net/video/oQpyTK1z8Ls/видео.html, it seems then the mix audio started to appear in the laptop input port. Right?

All I still need is the answer on a special purpose-question: Can I play some music from my computer into the mixer and can I connect my electric guitar directly to the mixer too or do I need a guitar amp too? @ApertureAlley When I use this mixer I get a lot of white noise. I am not sure if it is a faulty mixer or what. When I turn on the 48V of phantom power I hear it most. Sounds like an ocean in the mic and its not from a laptop fan or other noise within the room. I've updated the behringer drivers, however, still not working. Is this something you have experienced with yours?

    Hello and thank you for your nice video.
    I use to connect my Korg Krome keyboard into my Bose Compnaion 5 (2.1 system) Aux Input: the 2 1/4 jack keyboard output (for a stereo sound) are converted into a single 3.5mm jack that plugs into the Companion 5 Aux Input. I works nice. The Bose are already connected on my computer via USB connection.
    Now I would like to connect my DX7 synth (2 output 1/4 jack), my electric guitar (1 output 1/4 jack), and my Yamaha Piagero NPV80 2 keyboard (1 output 1/4 jack) to my Bose 2.1 speakers, the whole IN STEREO, via the entry jack 3.5 mm.
    Do I need to use a mixer (BEHRINGER XENYX QX1002USB), an audio interface (BEHRINGER UMC404HD), or both of them?
    Thank you in advance for your answers!

    • @MrG0re
      @MrG0re 4 года назад

      Yes my lad. You get a stereo RCA cable and just loop it in the 2-track section.
      Set up your channel buttons:
      Phones/Control room pressed DOWN
      To main mix NOT pressed down
      This will make your 2track mix routed to your headphones channel so that you can have zero latency monitoring of your direct recording.

      d5 is non-stereo, so it will work as mono on one channel, but yes. If you do this, you wont have phantom though, phantom is provided only to first two mono channels. Not like you need phantom on dynamic anyway.

      What are you looking to do if you connect the iPad to this mixer? Record? I don't have any experience in trying such a task, but I don't think the mixer will be able to talk to the iPad. I would look into a mixer made for a smart device.

    • @Brooklynsbestborn
      @Brooklynsbestborn 8 лет назад

      Thank you for your time and response. I did some digging, and Behringer's RUclips page has a video answering my question. I can record vocals into my iPads DAW. Using the USB interface, I would plug into mixer using a usb cord, and at the end of the cord, I would connect an apple camera connector www.apple.com/shop/product/MD821AM/A/lightning-to-usb-camera-adapter?afid=p238%7Cs3QnnXQT3-dt_mtid_1870765e38482_pcrid_52243316890_&cid=aos-us-kwg-pla-btb-slid- then plug into iPad. Great way to get the quality sound of an xlr mic, in your digital mobile home studio.

      Yes, of course, it is USB audio interface+mixer+preamp with phantom combo. You can receive data from device (xlr or 6.3 mic) through usb to PC. You can send data from PC to device through usb. You can combine both, but its more complicated (search for "how to fix q802usb" on youtube)

      Your amp must have a line out output in order to connect to the mixer, although my best recommendation would be to get a dynamic mic and record the amp. Line out are usually not a 100% representation of what you hear in your amp. It's kinda an emulation of your amp, same goes for headphone outputs on amps.

I am so confused at the moment, do I need to buy an audio interface like a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 AND a mixer to get this new audio setup to work? Basically I want to know if I have to buy the audio interface (Scarlett). Will my new audio setup work with only the mixer and the microphone? Thanks

    Man this is bad. They are XLR not XR, it's made by Behringer, not bell ringer. Gain and level are not the same. Go away and learn the difference between pre-amp and mixing. I guess receiver = amplifier?
    Seriously, if you're looking for a review or instructions, find a source that knows what it's talking about, this one definitely does not.
