I like the way the grants work now as opposed to the way they worked in the prototype we played. I also welcome the change that incentivizes players to change loyalty sides. The game in general looks nice. Good job!
Your playthroughs and your videos in general are so well done with great presentation, lighting and sound. You really are a pro. You are the reason that I bought lots of games. Keep up the excellent work!❤❤🎉
This game looks really interesting and fairly intuitive for the weight. I'm just wondering if it would be as fun or replayable after the first or second play. Most of the games coming out with a medium or heavy weight haven't been as replayable for the cost, unfortunately. What do you think of this one? I definitely love the theme!
Thanks for the playthrough, Jon! I just wish the layout and iconography was much cleaner, both on the main board and the player boards. With so much going on, I feel like the design is working against usability. It’s definitely not intuitive.
Can you please elaborate on this? Because we have actually gotten compliments on our playthrough on how clear everything was. Since the game is still a work in progress, we'd appreciate any feedback!
@@gamebrewer4985the symbols on species cards could easily match with the icons on player boards and on minor findings board .... Is there a reason why they are different?
@@gamebrewer4985I think it's mostly the dark and muddy palette which suits the theme but doesn't really make icons too distinctive between each other while also making them blend in too much with busy artwork. Also, some icons seem a bit hard to recognise at a glance, especially at first. For example, the "coin" icon to me doesn't really resemble a coin to me as much as a controller joystick seen from a side. It might be a good idea to ask people who have never seen the game to guess what the icons mean and try to infer to which other components they might be connected, this might reveal which iconography causes the most problems to a newcomer.
Looks like a good game. Kinda reminds me of Darwin's Journey, thematically speaking. I hope they make player boards dual layered to allow for easier tucking of cards.
Hmm... quite an interesting game, but I do agree with some of the other comments that the iconography on the board isn't as good as it could be. Thanks for the video!
I feel like this theme could have been super cool - fun to learn about and immerse yourself in. But it seems like uninteresting mechanics with the theme pasted on.
This was incredibly helpful! I wanted to be a paleontologist when I was a kid, so this game is very much on my radar.

another great video my guy, crushing it
Amazing teach, Jon! This isn't an easy game :)

Unfortunately I can't comment on replayability. I never actually played this game fully even once before making this video.

This one looks interesting. I don't love the refute action but the rest looks fun.

Some of the grafic design choices really bugging me. But looks interesting!
