As someone from the southern United States where that is a classic cake. Who ever made that did a great job. Looks fantastic and they way they love it, must have made it great tasting to.
Honestly, if it was made by the chef, he did a magazine quality cake right there. It was beautifully done, and layered cakes like that aren't super easy.
One of my many pet peeves are the people thathave never tasted something, and they say they don't like it. I can understand if it's pig feet, etc, but c'mon?
@@lunacielo7680 oh don’t get me started on the feet of any animal. I have tried it multiple times, and while I am someone who loves fat (to my own detriment), I can never stand the texture of the feet no matter how well seasoned
I remember many many years ago when I was little my birthday fell on Father's Day. And I got to celebrate my birthday with my grandfather. My mother and grandmother made this huge coconut cream cake...❤... It was the best coconut cream cake I have ever ate my life. And I have not tasted another cake as good as that one was many years ago. ! I think that cake was mine and my grandfather's favorite. He has since passed away but I will always remember that Father's Day, & Coconut Cream Cake 🍰
@@debs5039I imagine they have guests over quite a bit more than you may think. They may not always be able to put together stuff like this for them, but they’ll make a nice meal and put out the best tableware, dress nice, and always offer guests more, even if they themselves haven’t had much. This is true of many cultures, in fact. You see this in places all over the Mediterranean, Caribbean, South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, plus Mexico! There are exceptions, but this is the general truth to most of the world. Each culture has its own ways of going about it, its own traditions and expectations of both the guest and the homeowners, but it’s seemingly even more common to do this if you’re working class and already don’t have much. The meaning behind doing so is so much greater as a result, too.
I've been wanting a coconut cake for a while. That one looks so good! I wish these gentlemen lived next door to me, I think they would be wonderful neighbors.
Coconut cake here in Australia is more like a sponge cake than a cream cake, but with a thicker crumb. In any case, I've received my daily dose of Tahir's philosophy, which always makes me smile 😊
They loved that cake! I hope if its purchasable or if the chef made it, that they will help them buy/make it for their kids and grandkids birthdays! I love that the channel is expanding their knowledge and experiences, and they bring these back to their families and communities, opening up their minds too. What an effect i imagine you all must be having on your communities.
My grandparents used to eat a yellow cake with apricot preserves spread on top of each layer as well as coconut cakes. They are both delicious in their own way.
It's funny that he mentioned coconut cake shaped like hearts. That's exactly what my Mother used to make for my birthday! I loved those heart shaped pans and the delicious coconut cake that she made!
I just found this channel, absolutely joyful❤ Thank you for sharing ( I love it when we share our cultures, one love💯☮️❤️😊) It was such a delight to witness someone else's delight, thank you Gentlemen☮️❤️
Such a collection of splendid gentlemen (and the occasional lady) such a pleasure to see the enjoyment on their faces, especially when its something sweet.
Ok, so I’m a bit biased. My favorite person’s reaction to eating anything sweet is Mr. C. Because he has a sweet tooth he always reminds me of a kid who is in their favorite candy store and everything is free.. LOL!
Today they are trying out Coconut cake and as always I think that they are going to like it and can't wait for their reactions and responses Thank You very much for showing them.👏👍🙏
Rafaello sweets with coconut are one of my all time faves, and coconut cake, malibu (a coconut rum although i know these gents cant have alcohol) ... pina colada! Anything coconut flavour is just delish!
You do realize race hustlers are inventing this so they can have a chance to be in front of the camera and they are the ones fixing the situation. There are plenty of those who just hate everything that they haven’t grown up with. These men are so funny, their explanations are priceless.
Big well done to the chef. Would be good if we could have him / her being interviewed and actually have a vid of having the chef preparing and cooking the food
Coconut cake is popular in the southern states and church socials. Next they should try German chocolate cake with the carmel pecan Coconut frosting. It's my favorite part of the cake . And zucchini bread. With cream cheese frosting. Now I want it so I better get to baking.
This is only suggestion but can you put, if you have something soft like carpets or cloth on the wall behind or sides so aqoustic is better. now sound echoes a lot :)
I love these folks. If I could have one wish, it would be to sit down with them and share food stories over coffee and a piece of Great Wall chocolate cake from P.F.Changs.
Yep, there are banana cakes, pineapple upside down cakes, apple cakes, strawberry cakes, lemon cakes, orange cakes.... on and on. Pineapple upside down cake would be a good one to try.
Coconut cake and banana pudding are two of my favorite deserts. I sometimes put lemon filling between the layers and on top of the cake then cover with coconut. I also make a version of banana pudding with coconut cream pudding and merengue on top sprinkled with coconut the toasted in the oven.
I love coconut cake. Pepperidge Farms has a refrigerated coconut cake that is superb for a mass-produced product. Glad the guys liked it - what you presented looks very good an authentic. Actually, I like coconut anything, like chocolate with coconut centers or coconut flavored ices.
Can you possibly show a map of where all of gentlemen’s towns are in Pakistan? Such a wonderful group of gentlemen. And serve coconut cake with a hot coffee or a cold milk 😊
It amazes me the size bites they can take, especially when they have nothing to wash it down with These men are so fun to watch They sure make me appreciate all the wonderful things I have and have done 😊
He said that coconut is not as naturally occurring in Pakistan as compared to India and Sri Lanka, because they have more of a costal line and beaches. He never said that there aren't coconuts in Pakistan. You should let me do your subtitles, I'll do it for free
I love their kindness and enjoyment. I always request coconut cake for my birthday. I love coconut in any form. We also use cocnut oil for skin here too. It is wonderful for eczema.
I love these guys. So dignified and respectable, with a twinkle in their eye!❤
Great description.
Definitely one of my favorite deserts. They would absolutely LOVE a coconut cream pie. Let's make it happen! Cheers from America!
Mr. Chaudry has my heart! He always makes me smile with his sweet spirit❤️ Love all these wonderful humans tho!
ME TOO ! God love them all, with their distinct personalities. The sweet spirit, the doctor, the comedian and the king.
Me too ! But they're All such lovely people, I'd like to sit down and have a cup of tea and some cake with them one day, they'd be good company ! 😊
Me too❤
Same!
Mr. Khan looking sharp today.
Hes the tribal cheif
Gul Sher Khan *always* looks sharp.
As someone from the southern United States where that is a classic cake. Who ever made that did a great job. Looks fantastic and they way they love it, must have made it great tasting to.
Probably would have been even better if they had given them a glass of milk or tea with it.
And they weren't playing around with the serving size😂👍🏼
Honestly, if it was made by the chef, he did a magazine quality cake right there. It was beautifully done, and layered cakes like that aren't super easy.
Even used toasted coconut, soooo yummy♥️
Oh I love me some coconut cake!! My mother does a coconut cake 🎂 🥥
Peace, love, and honor to these gentlemen. Always a joy to see them try different dishes

A kind gesture for the men. When serving desserts, food that is sweet, always have some tea brewing.

That sounds Wonderful Judy, Thankyou for sharing such a Lovely memory with us, 🤗❤️😊
Bless you
That is a great story. Family and good food equals good memories.
@judyhosey4060, yes, thank you for sharing your experience with your granddad. I love reading heartfelt stories like yours.
I want to wish Blessings on each of these gentlemen and their families. ♥️
I love watching these guys. They have a great sense of humor, are very polite and elegant
These guys are so hospitable. They always consider how much guests at their home would like something if it were served to them.
But in reality I actually wonder how often they have guests. They’re all poor and I can’t imagine their budget stretches to feeding guests very often!
@@debs5039 That's why it's very important to entertain the ones you have!

I love that the people on this channel are such good hearted and kind people and such wholesome content. It really makes you smile.
Tahir has colour co-ordinated his goatee and headwear!!!!!
They need a cup of tea with this.
Just made one last week. My favorite though is German Chocolate Cake ! 🇺🇸❤️

Still sounds delicious. I want to try it lol.
ahhhh my favorite cake! especially if it has a lemon curd in the layers... yuuum!
My Mom used to make wonderful coconut cakes. So glad they enjoyed it.
You heard our friend! STRAWBERRY CAKE!
I liked what he said about how good foods you especially like always taste so good if some lengthy time passes between times you eat them. So true.
They loved that cake! I hope if its purchasable or if the chef made it, that they will help them buy/make it for their kids and grandkids birthdays! I love that the channel is expanding their knowledge and experiences, and they bring these back to their families and communities, opening up their minds too. Unfortunately I’m not sure they have access to a oven. They usually cook everything on the stove top.
@@tokidokiteacher659 they got that cake somehow though. So I hope the channel will help make their wishes for their kiddos birthdays come true.
I would totally love that for them. They all wished to share the joy with their families.
My grandparents used to eat a yellow cake with apricot preserves spread on top of each layer as well as coconut cakes. They are both delicious in their own way.
Sounds delicious. 😊
I already knew Tribal Harrison Ford was going to drool over his piece. 😆Yes, it is delicious! Lemon coconut cake is even better!
It's funny that he mentioned coconut cake shaped like hearts. That's exactly what my Mother used to make for my birthday! I loved those heart shaped pans and the delicious coconut cake that she made!
That looks divinely delicious!!!

I love Coconut cake, but I am a bigger fan of Coconut Cream Pie. Would love to see that reaction!
Yes, and coconut custard pie.
Reminds me of my southern coconut cake 🍰! We layer it with creamy icing and lots of coconut! I would love to make these guys some southern food! 🤣😊
I'll bring the watermelons, my grandmama's from scratch buttermilk biscuits, and the sweet tea!
The coconut cake looks delicious! Nice to see the men enjoying the cake as much as I do! My favorite cake! 🍰 🎂🌞
All the things we take for granted and available 24/7 are a new experience for these folks. I wish i had that opportunity again. To be in wonderment.
That really is a great looking cake, you have done well. One of my favorite is a coconut cream pie.
Looks great ❤❤❤❤❤
That cake looks amazing.

Tahir's wit always make me smile
I love the guy that immediately started planning to buy these as birthday cakes for all his loved ones. :)
I really love to see how they love stuff we take for granted.
My thoughts exactly! We take so much for granted. We should be more grateful. Well, I know I am.
They all really loved that cake! It's my favourite too.
Coconut cake is definitely my favorite it has the perfect amount of sweetness imo.😊
My grandma made the best coconut cake that I have ever tasted! My Aunt Betty’s is a close runner up! 😀❤️❤️
It does look yummy. I like cake, too 🎉
Coconut cake is one of my favorite things to make!

I really like your idea. If the chef and the tasters could have a discussion, how wonderful that would be.
Excellent work by all. Very enjoyable.
Coconut cake is the best. Thanks for sharing. Much love and respect from Baltimore as always.

Try a 7 day sour cream and coconut cake, you will be hooked for life, it is the best ever coconut cake!!!!
I knew these guys would love this cake. Unless you hate coconut, you can't go wrong with this. So good.
My favorite! They need to try oatmeal raisin cookies next. America's favorite!
Yuck! America's favorite? Ask most kids in the USA what is their favorite cookie. I bet it will be chocolate chip.
These videos help me appreciate what I have. And break up my routine. Thank you friends
I think they like coconut cake!! Try German Chocolate Cake.
Give them the recipe. May God’s blessings stay upon these lovely men and their families. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰
Granny used to make one every Christmas but it was 8 rich/thin layers of cake so we got lots of coconut and icing too!
Watching this is making me crave coconut cream pie! LOL! I'll never lose any weight! LOL
They must be really pleased to want it for their children and grandchildrens birthdays lol so these fine gentlemen can have some ❤😂
