Wishing the best for Mr. Chaudry. While he has never met me, I see him as a friend through watching this channel. I would also like to welcome Mr. Asif for a chance to participate in TPT!
Too bad Mr. Chaudhary missed out on this. His eyes would've began twinkling the second he saw that plate, lol. So glad they enjoyed it! Something they can easily make themselves if they chose.
@@dougclegg7955 I was wondering that as well. Anyone know why he's not been on lately? I hope his health isn't bad. This would've made him happy I just know it. He's like a kid at heart when it comes to anything sweet. It's so great to see his reactions.

They're polite and appreciate and Tahir - Dr. Cough always has insights for us. That's why I love their videos. They're such sweet and genuine people.

When my son played Little League baseball, his grandpa would sometimes come to his games when he was able, and afterwards, his grandpa would buy him a banana split if he hit a home run. Good times... My son is now 45 years old and his grandpa has passed away, but the memories endure.
@@nunosoares2329 Thank you for your kind wishes. My father-in-law was a good guy and has been gone since 1994. My son used to spend six weeks with him during summer vacations when I had to work and couldn't afford to send him to camp for the whole summer.
2:27 YES! It is also called a banana boat, because of the way it is made & served. Mr. Rana is right on the money with his description! 😃 And Dr. Tahir is also correct about banana helping with muscle pain, cramps, etc… They are loaded with potassium so if you have muscle cramps it could mean your potassium is low. Eating a banana everyday will help get rid of muscle cramps. 😁 *PS* Mr. Chaudhary is going to be so sad that he didn’t get to try this sweet treat. Banana splits are delectable. ✌🏻💕😊
When Mr. Rana asked if today was a special day, I replied with "Every day is a special day. We are given another day of life, and the freedom to make of it whatever we will." God bless each and every one of the people there. I pray for Pakistan and it's people to weather the financial struggles that they are facing.
Fun Fact: The Banana split was created in Latrobe, Pennsylvania in 1904 by David Stickler. I would have shown them a picture of one and given them ingredients and told them to make their own. Making the banana split is as much fun as eating them, you can be very creative.
Funny. My back has been killing me for a couple of days. Ate 2 bananas today and my back pain is gone. Didn't think about it until Tahir said it. Love this channel!❤
Dehydration can cause muscle pain also Drink plenty of fluids daily ❤ Some foods can interfere with medications Check with Dr if taking blood pressure or heart meds 😊
I recently stumbled on this channel and it was love at first sight. The men and women are honest, kind, and thankful. We could all take a lesson from them.
Mr. Gul Sher never gets any in his mustache, or scarf, or sleeve, or tassel... Even when he ate lasagna. That takes skill!!!! I very much enjoy watching your videos!!!! Always so fun and pleasant!!!!! And introduces us to another culture and them to us, which I think is the best idea.
When I was a child, banana split was such a popular dish, that we even had special "boat shaped" dishes for it. The base was a banana split in half. Then you had three scoops, one chocolate, one pink and one white. I chose chocolate almond and while strawberry was traditional, I selected burgundy cherry and for the last one, it's usually plain vanilla. The chocolate had marshmallow sauce on it, the strawberry had pineapple sauce and the vanilla had hot fudge. Then a line of whipped cream was sprayed over the bananas with a final squirt on each scoop of ice cream then topped with a marachino cherry on each. What a treat that was!
In Canada it is served with three scoops vanilla ice cream with a different sauce on each one the split banana on sides then topped with whip cream chopped nuts and maraschino cherry on each scoop ( I used to ask for hot fudge / strawberry / and banana sauces LOL )
Vanilla flavour comes from the thousands of tiny black seeds that are scraped from inside the long vanilla bean. The best flavour comes from adding some of these seeds directly to the ice cream or custard or cake, according to your recipe. The beans without seeds can be used to flavour white sugar, or added to a liquid to form vanilla essence. The vanilla bean paste is the most expensive to buy.
What a nice treat. I had one last night. Yummy. Mr. C would have loved to try that. Thanks for sharing and giving fun historical facts to the gentleman about the dishes being served. I love watching
My mom would make it the same way all the time….three mounds of different flavored ice cream, banana underneath, one mound would have pineapple, one chopped strawberry, one chopped cherries, chopped nuts across all, a fudgy sauce over the top and covered in whipped cream. Legendary. Sigh, miss my mom…
Actually, a true banana split has chocolate syrup only over the chocolate ice cream; chunky strawberry topping over the strawberry ice cream; and over the vanilla ice cream??, I always got chucky pineapple, but I guess whatever you prefer (butterscotch or caramel syrup sounds good too). Topped with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and maraschino cherries. Mmmmm....mmmmm.....mmmm! That sounds so good!! But only if I plan to be alone the next 24 hrs as I am lactose intolerant.
I love these series and all the people who tries the dishes, but mostly how Mr Tahir is always giving a perspective of the healthy properties of any dish he tries 🙂 Best wishes for all of them
A True Banana Split, is done in a boat type dish, with the halved banana on either side as you did, & you got the ice cream flavors right as well. BUT each scoop of ice cream is topped with 3 different syrups, with the 2 fruit flavored ones of Strawberry & Pineapple, each having small chunks of respective fruits. The 3rd topping Can bring on some debate, bc some know it to be made with Chocolate Syrup, while the more decadent ones are made with Hot Fudge, which is thicker than syrup, & also served warm, hence it’s name!!! Then it All is topped with Whipped Cream, with a Cherry on top!!!

We also peeled bananas, put them on a stick and froze them, then dipped in chocolate, which also froze around the banana. I did the cooking during the weekdays, and on Saturday night I worked the ice cream counter, making the 50 different ice cream desserts! We made a family sized one that had EIGHT flavors of ice cream, EIGHT toppings, nuts, cherries, whipped cream, it was HUGE, and called The Earthquake!*
