Tis your spoiler warning (although the second question isn't really a spoiler. That guy just didn't make an appearance in the anime for some reason !!! manga spoilers ahead !!! !!! I repeat, spoilers ahead !!! !!! in !!! !!! 3 !!! !! 2 !! ! 1 ! The original nobles who lived in the mansion is the Mirror(s) House which is the complete opposites of Shadows House who manipulates the growing citizens and villagers of Mirrorlake, whereas Mirror House were humble nobles with little land and low population of both citizens and villagers. Emily is an attendant of Catherine, Kate's mother. Catherine gets preggy and the workers at the manor decided to give a gift, a rare "pet" which is called a Morph/Morphy, and so they did preparations for the celebration. It was cut short though, since the morphy began multiplying and like how scorches act they go to their faces and do this lil ekfjwrmpejpcqf thingie. They go escape the mansion that was their former home, get inside a carriage to escape the morphys but still get chased (damn they do be fast with those little legs lmao tho they're huge @~@) Lady Catherine does get attacked while inside the carriage but Emily managed to like... get rid of it?? But there was a huge side effect tho. Lady Catherine started to turn black while journeying to escape the island but even so she still held on cuz she lab da bebi. Lady Catherine collapsed, well kinda i think since her whole body turned black but she still has a pulse, so Emily's plans on bringing Lady Catherine to her parent's house is not a choice anymore so she went to her prev grandma's house and made Lady Catherine lie on a bed. Emily waited, both with anticipation that her child will be born, and fear that a fairy might be born. Fifty years have passed and the day arrived. Emily named the baby Kate since that was Lady Catherine's pet name of some sort. At first Kate had a decent childhood and yadah yadah, but then her body started changing. Her fingers had an inky, dusty substance that crawled up to her arms and spread all over her body so she wasn't able to go see her friends anymore. (Im sleepy as frick so imma keep short im sry) Emily didn't tell the history of what the heck happened to her family so she decided to tell her everything but decided to lie to reassure Kate that her disease will get cured. Of course Kate found out, she got pissed and now she wanted to know everything that really really happened so she left the island she previously lived, left a letter for Grandma Emily and covered her face with a mask so her face won't be visible (she has a big bonnet of some sort so she's kinda fine as long as she has her face covered up poor girl) aaand that's where she discovered all types of messed up shit. The manor was seized and was turned into the Shadows House that we know, they do illegal human trafficking in a way, brainwashed shits ton of people, also setting up traps where scattered morphs would into and take' em to the manor to do yadah yadah stuff you know the drill. Star Bearers. What fun job lol. OKeh lemme get to the point now lmao. Christopher, Edward, Eilleen/Aileen, and short hair guy(i think it was Gerald) were former Star Bearers. Barbara who was an angsty, depressed cinamon roll and Maryrose really admired (mostly Barbara) Christopher. (Anthony is Chris' face) Maryrose having her memories as a morph decided to tell Christopher and Anthony everything and it ended very well. But oops, when Chris found out the secret of the manor he commited.... yeah which left Anthony very devastated especially Maryrose. She couldn't tell Barbara the truth so they both avoided each other. Oh yeah, in Maryrose's and Rosemary's invitation, they jumped off a the wall window thingie that they broke. That's all i can say for now imma frekin slep i rewrote this whole ass thing after a week of abandoning it lmao
