Brew is fantastic, and a lot tankier and easy to play than most people seem to think. The only thing you can really fuck up is celestial brew. You want to use it on dangerous things, not just on CD, as it can completely negate mechanics when stacked. For example, here you could have a 10 stacked shield on every stonecracker on the last boss, making it do basically no damage. Most bosses have some kind of tankbuster you can completely ignore with celestial , it's great. Another thing I learned while playing Brew is that they are rather gear dependent, and scale very well with gear. The extra dodge and stagger you get makes a massive difference. Once geared you'll be sitting on around 80% stagger and dodge about 60-80% (depending on mastery), which is kinda nuts. Also, using exploding keg as a defensive tool is somewhat of a trap, it really is not worth it. It only lasts 3 seconds, and within that time a mob will get maybe 2 attacks. Dodge is so high, especially with your build, that you are highly likely to dodge, and that gets even higher with better gear. So on average you are mitigating 1 single auto attack from a mob at most, not really worth much. Use it as a damage tool where you send it and then spin kick to proc the extra damage instead, it is fantastic for burst AoE. If you really want to use it as defensive, you are better off just using it as a heal with the S3 2P since it does fire damage.
I fell in love with brewmaster from shadowlands and I haven’t looked back. My most played spec to this day and I love it, you did awesome work on your key!! Gz, onwards and upwards if you decide to carry on 👏✨
Tips from an old Brewmaster, even if you don't enjoy weakauras. Get one to track stagger, that's how you can make informed decisions on getting most out for your self heal. The stagger color sadly is not always equal to the danger you're in. Red stagger doesn't always mean danger, the strength is that you take damage slowly and with that can make decisions other tanks doesn't have the option to do.
I main Brewmaster and I LOVE the play style. It’s never dull because you have to constantly hit buttons, and if you learn it enough you can power through keys pretty well. For the future, tiger's palm and keg smash give CDR on all "brew" abilities. Tiger's palm reduces their CD by 1 sec, and Keg Smash reduces by 3 sec. Was slightly concerned when I didn't see Tiger's Palm on your bars, but is a little too late for that lol
Monk is really fun when you are pressing all your buttons and everything is falling over but gets scary in higher keys when 1-2 hits is filling your stagger bar and purifying brew is on cd. It feels less "tanky" the higher you go.
Brewmaster Monk?! More like Gluemaster Dunk cause you're the glue that holds your group together while you slam dunk these keys bro! Excellent performance from you once again VesperalTV! Is there anything that you can't do?! Would you take my wife off my hands for a night so she can finally see what a real man is? Haha just kidding ofc, DON'T GO NEAR MY WIFE! Banger video, see you tomorrow!
yo bro! been a brew main for years until the last few days where I've finally swapped mains.. lemme tell you the other tanks are so much easier to play once you hit a certain level i hate what they've done to Brewmaster in DF the shadowlands version was so much better imo. keep rocking the vids man! maybe shadow priest run next?? #pogchamp
Man, good job faking it until you make it! The jist of BrM is Breath of Fire to reduce damage taken, keg smash, breath of fire again to spread it to all enemies affected by keg smash. ALWAYS purify brew before Celestial brew! It increases the shield you get. Use Ring of Peace to allow a sort of “kiting” to keep incoming damage down on big pulls. You have 3 defensives to use when celestial brew is on cooldown, use them!
Not that much, it's a pretty forgiving tank for beginners due to stagger actually, rotation wise feels like playing a Melee dps with some extra steps It has a high skill ceiling doe, easy to pick up but hard to master
its a shame theres so many mandatory kicks this season and vdh outshines all the tanks due to their sigils, i miss the massive bull stomps that we were able to pull in shadowlands

He took the Press the Advantage talent, which removes Tiger Jab and provides a CDR on your auto attacks.
@@JoshuaRAWRR fair enough I didn’t catch that, I don’t run it myself so I kinda forgot it existed
I'm a warlock main. I always run forward before that dragon and have half the group yell at me before I (smugly) put down a gate

In the beginning, that was very where you said just die die die die die die

Rafikia is right, something to make your stagger more visible is def the way to go. Anyway as always love the content bro keep on keepin on
The amount of times he pulled and said he was dead already xD Love the content and play some more Brew!
nice vid mate, how do you get the defensives and interupt bar i dont think you use any ui mods?
I play brew too. Super nice tank spec, fun and very strong

U need to purify the stagger more often, you were constantly in the yellow n red
love the series vesp, keep it up ❤
Great video! Entertaining as always.
Am i crazy or is It a bit crazy to tank the pack/bosses agains the group?
You get cdr on celestial brew from keg smash as well
That’s the whole reason I’ve never played a monk. The class fantasy just seems so ass to me. But that’s why I love wow. There’s a class for everyone
What about Fury Warrior? Or Arms?
Thx for the great content!
On stream he said he wants to play them but needs ilvl
Garbage specs and class. Warriors are literally the most useless class in the game.

gotcha, ty!
if you haven't tried it yet, prot war is one of my fav spec
Is brewmaster hard to learn? For someone completely new to tanking
Not that much, it's a pretty forgiving tank for beginners due to stagger actually, rotation wise feels like playing a Melee dps with some extra steps
It has a high skill ceiling doe, easy to pick up but hard to master
Every time you keg smash it resets the CD on your firebreath.
Sp next? :)
monk is and always be my favorite class
UH DK or Frost Next ? ❤
Zen is good for tank busters like the first boss
its a shame theres so many mandatory kicks this season and vdh outshines all the tanks due to their sigils, i miss the massive bull stomps that we were able to pull in shadowlands
bm when you are actually better just needs hots. Big healers like pres, holy are. notthat good and often overheal the tanks
gg
Resto shaman
First! Love your content Vespy!
that mage sucked
